Doesn't deserve three stars. The rooms are as old and simple as possible, although they still have all the amenities such as air conditioning, a kettle, and a refrigerator. It’s nice that there is a balcony, although it’s dead, but on the 5th floor the view is normal, on the other floors there is no view of the hotels or the wall. There’s a balance here: it’s hard to get up every time in the heat, but the view is great. About the cleaning, no one cleaned up even once, we didn’t really care, but it’s a fact. The walls are thin, there is a road nearby, it is noisy. But if we moved around a lot during the day, we slept well. It’s an easy 25 minute walk to the sea, we mostly rode a scooter, it didn’t bother us, by the way, you can rent it at the hotel, the scooter was practically new and was rented to us for 250 baht per day if you rent it for several days. It’s hard to talk at the reception, they don’t speak English well, we don’t know Thai. The shower and toilet are all working, the water is regulated according to heat. For the money it will do, but not for everyone, only for people without requests and pens. We only spent the night, it was fine for us.

In rooms all things were old and dirty. Bed is okey and ai asked daily cleaning. But curtains were dirty. There was even lizard in room

The rooms are old, the air conditioning is strange. Very humid and smells damp.We spent the night upon arrival, then only things were stored there; we returned a week later; there was no cleaning or anything like that. This is just a place where you can leave your things while you drive around the island!

Lamai guesthouse is close to the beach , but not in a popular area ! Maybe some people like quiet , others may want to be closer to attractions or Bangla .I was enquiring about long term rooms , it looks like electric is an over charge way more than double government price . But the actual rent cost is not expensive. Thank you for reading 🙏
