Did you know that? As a solo traveler, it's nice to see beautiful places and eat delicious food, but the most important thing is to meet good people.I booked the cheapest accommodation on an accommodation reservation app, but the service I received was not cheap at all.As soon as I first arrived, the host and cute cat welcomed me. The first impression was very good. All services were explained to us, including free bicycle rental and free breakfast, and we went to our room.The room is very spacious. The space with the lockers was spacious and the shower room and toilet were both very spacious so I didn't feel stuffy at all. There is plenty of space to work on your laptop or take a break, so I didn't feel any inconvenience at all.The family runs a cafe and a hostel, and everyone is friendly and always smiles and welcomes you. My mother made an egg omelet every morning and always recommended places to travel, so I didn't have to worry about where to go.I stayed in hostels while traveling around 3 countries in Southeast Asia for 4 months, and it was definitely the hostel that left me with the most beautiful memories.There is a very cute and friendly cat roaming around the lobby so come play with it when you stay at the hostel.

The rooms are quiet and you sleep soundly! It has many common areas where you can rest, large and tidy bathrooms. The breakfast is simple and good.In addition to this, the owner is a delightful and altruistic person if you need her. Thanks Grace

Grace is a gift to humanity. The love she has for her guests is noticeable and kindness resonates from her. The facilities are adequate, a/c works well, bathroom space, showers, and storage are all plentiful. She loves to bake and from time to time will have baked goods for sale including homemade peanut butter. There is a well stocked drink fridge with super cold beer, a simple but complete dinner menu with several options all available until late at an affordable price cooked by Grace personally, Banoffee pie (a special desert made by her), and breakfast is bread, bananas, and a plate of scrambled eggs per person. The lobby has recently become home to four lovely cats (2 adults and 2 kittens) that she rescued; they have all been to the vet and she is actively getting them their vaccines to keep them clean and healthy (another gesture of her big heart). She partners with a moped company and they have great bikes at incredibly affordable rates (the best and cheapest way to experience all that Chiang Rai has to offer). The place has some cobwebs and dust that could be cleaned, but it’s easily forgotten when you see how hard she works and how much she cares. Don’t miss this opportunity, 10/10.

A clean and comfortable hostel with breakfast included. Food was good. Free filtered water. Free bananas and toast through out the day. Big lockers. One of the best budget hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and so welcoming. They will go above and beyond to accommodate you and help you in their own time. The people working in the hostel will make your stay. Can’t fault it

A little out of the city but it’s no problem with a motorbike. The building is big and feels like a relic in a really neat way. Giant bathrooms. The owners are so helpful and will be happy to give recommendations.

for the money you pay it’s a nice hostel. The woman at the reception was so friendly & helped us book a car for 2h to get to the white & blue temple. The breakfast was okay, I read online that you can order pancakes, but we only got scrambled eggs. You can take bananas the whole day. The room had no good air & smelled a little bit dusty. The balcony is mostly occupied by people smoking weed, but not annoying.

The most spacious hostel I've ever stayed in. Excellent hostel, a lot of.space at the rooms, everything clean and organized. Very good breakfast, I just have to recommend it to other travelers, the hostel is very good

The truth is that I arrived with fear because of the "bedbugs" reviews, but I couldn't have been better. The hostel is run by the mother and son, both are very friendly. The mother was always willing to help you, she told me recommendations for "free tours" and taking bicycles. Every morning you have breakfast included, which consists of instant coffee, bread, butter, sugar and eggs with tomatoes/onions that your mother makes for you.The showers worked properly, they give you a blanket for the night and the rooms have a curtain on the bed.The wifi works very well.In short, 100% recommended.Thank you very much ❤️PS: I loved the little blue bird they have 🥰

The lady is nice and helpful....but... There's BEDBUGS!!!!! I got bitten so badly I'm now on antihistaminiques and cortisone, I had to wash everything including my bag in Pai! There's also ants in the bathroom running everywhere and no hot shower even though there's the heater on it's just not hot. I wouldn't recommend this place unfortunately 😞.

Don't go there! Bedbugs in the dorm, I found many of them on my skin et bed, I got bitten as well as another traveller!! Please treat your place! It's actually ruining my journey!! 😭

My stay here was like feeling at home and Grace seemed to be my mother. She cooked every day delicious Thai food and is always available to talk with a big smile. The whole family is always ready to help with anything and they work full day for us. The hostel is very clean, peaceful and safe. I really appreciate how they even took care of my bags for a couple of days when I wasn’t there. Plenty of space for parking. Breakfast is very complete with coffee, tea, bread, eggs, bananas and more. Simple and humble but with a lot of love. I would be back for sure!

Comfortable and large dormitory and common room, the meals offered have the best quality-price-quantity ratio after 3 weeks in Thailand. Too bad we only stayed one night (lack of time)

I really enjoyed my stay here. Grace is such a lovely lady, super nice and very attentive. Definitely don’t miss this lovely place when you are in chiang rai. FYI she’s also a really good cook, will definitely come back!!
