I like staying here because in the morning I can walk to Wat Phra Kaew. Walking around in Chiang Khong is easy. Walking and exercising along the walkway along the river is also pleasant. There are electric motorcycles for rent.Clean rooms, good service, and a Jacuzzi tub on the balcony. and see the Lao side Or you can go soak in the hotel's onsen. There are restaurants and waterfront restaurants to choose from. Breakfast has a reasonable selection of noodles and buffet. The location is good, next to the road, easy to find, not expensive, during low season the price is about 1400 baht/night.

2024 07 06I'm staying for 3 nights today, room 601 for 2,300 baht. The kitchen and staff do a really good job, thank you. That's what I call taking care of the guests, congratulations!Magnificent view from Room 306 of the bulging MekongAccording to Wikipedia, over 15,000 m³ of water per second flows in the Mekong at high water levelsWhen the water level is low, still around 5,000 m³When it is high it is clearly visible how fast it is running; you can see this if, for example, a large piece of wood or bushes flows through2022 07 13I stayed here for 5 nights on my trip to northern Thailand.Since "Asalha Bucha" and "Khao Phansa" are two important Buddha days, plus a bridge day followed by a weekend (5 day holiday), it was very difficult to get a hotel room in the Mae Sai area, so that's why I moved on.Wonderful, the ride over the two mountains, great, I think the bikers' hearts beat faster because a clean road offers everything they need. Here at the “Chiangkhong Teak Garden Riverfront Hotel” I was lucky, had a friendly welcome and good advice.Large parking lot available. The de luxe room 604 (2,000 Baht including breakfast buffet, per night) with a view of the Mekong and the opposite "Huay Xai, in Laos" is remarkable. The glass bottles with the free drinking water are pleasant, they are certainly much harder to handle, but as reusable containers they are very environmentally friendly, congratulationsI was able to enjoy my dinner in the restaurant on the terrace, with a varied menu and excellent cooking. Please take plenty of time with you, nothing can be done quickly. The service is a bit special, you have to walk a long way because the kitchen is under the hotel, so take the order, then bring it to the kitchen, then get the drinks, get the food, prepare the bill, then get the return money! Walking the long distance 6 times per table alone could definitely be changed or simplified.I also found a good massage, the young Laotian woman was strong and gave a great foot massage. The next day I enjoyed an oil massage with her for 2 hours. My bed is wonderfully soft and I was able to sleep excellently, probably because I didn't have any noisy neighbors because the intermediate door is very poorly insulated. It's a shame they didn't think about guests having a notebook with them and wanting to work at the table, the space for that is rather unacceptable, very, very narrow. The bathtub on the large balcony is certainly very comfortable for Thais, but with my height of 183cm and 118kg, you would have to twist into it somehow, so I didn't use it.Near here is the well-known "Thai - Lao Friendship Bridge No.4", which I looked at up close. Then I visited a fruit plantation, unfortunately I couldn't admire any fruit, it's not the time for that. What can also be seen here in the whole area are the many Wat "temples", smaller and then again very large.
