5 full stars for the owner and for the location, very good area to stay, very clean and comfortable, the price is perfect, the owner are extremely lovely and the Garten is the best thing where you can sit and chill after a long trip day.We were there for 2 days, we got a scooter from a very good company which is a good friend from the owner of mech mansion, the rooms are very big and the service is perfect, they are very engaged about theyr guests and they help you and give you good Tipps what you can see and how you can get there.So I can totally recommend the mech mansion, thank you very much for your service!

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (the lady who own the place) who makes you feel so welcome, she showed me where to go in Chiangrai, gave me local tips and advices. She even knocked on my door to let me know that I left the headlights on on my rental car - what a life saver, as we had a trip to a mountain planned as couldn't afford a flat battery. She gave us a room upgrade at no cost as there is a room with better view available.For the room, it is really big, our room can fit 2 queen size beds inside, it comes with wardrobe, a big mirror and a big desk. No air-conditioning but there is a fan. The bathroom has a hot water machine. The facilities are very basic. Simply just a room with bed. You can get hot water, free tea, coffee, biscuits at the reception. So it is operated like a private room in an hostel.The internet in our room was slow and unstable. The whole place is old but clean. There's parking on site and there is an small gym (just need to ask the lady). Overall for the price, it is a great value for money but you really need your own transport to stay at this place.

We had accidentally booked a tent and they were quick to let us upgrade to a large room as it was pouring with rain! Great family run place, very sweet people. They will call cabs for you and sort out trips and offer coffee/fruits in the morning. Would recommend!
