We stayed for 2 nights!This is an inn where every aspect of the hotel is picturesque. It's in a great location, about 15 minutes by bike from the city center, yet you can spend a relaxing time in nature.The building was only rented to one group per day, so it was too spacious for a solo traveler.We harvested pesticide-free vegetables and herbs together in the inn's field, and for dinner we cooked Thai food with the innkeepers. Of course it's delicious because we use fresh ingredients, but it was even more delicious because we were making it ourselves and looking at the natural scenery!At night, I relaxed in a hammock while drinking beer I bought at a convenience store.They seem to be able to arrange various tours, so I'd like to bring my friends and stay there again!It is a place where you can travel as if you were living there.

The Location is so beautiful if you just want to have some quiet time in nature and escape from the busy streets of chiang rai... I enjoyed my stay with Nok and her husband very much. I chilled all day in the hammock and figured out the next steps of my travels and it is the perfect place for that.There is noone to connect though so if you travel solo, you really have ti be comfortable with being alone (which was exactly what I needed).There are also some trails to hike and chiang rai is just a 20 minutes drive away (they drive you for 200 bath).You can cook authentic Thai food with Nok in the evening. I am vegi, which wasn't a problem at all :)The room is spacious and Bed is comfortable, there is a mosquitonet and a bathroom. You have the bungalow/bigger house with kitchen, balcony and living room all for yourself and the two of them live right next to it.I could help plant cactee one afternoon which was really sweet.Oh and they have the cuuutest cats!You have a perfect view for the sunrise and the sunset. All in all really worth the price and a really unique homestay experience to stay there.Thank you guys!

Beautiful place in eco village! Mrs Nok is the best host! She has a great knowledge of plants and knows a lot about the Chiang Rai region, traditions and history. She showed us how to cook Thai food (delicious!) and how to use plants in the household. We had a great trekking trip with delicious lunch in a village. Although it is a bit expensive it is totally worth it! Do not hesitate to go there! It really feels like home away from home:)

A beautiful place to stay to escape the busy cities of Northern Thailand. Bamboo Nest is now situated in an eco-village just a short trip from Chiang Rai. The village is incredibly friendly and welcoming! The house has been built from upcycled materials and is very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the open air porch in the hammocks reading our books and birdwatching. Three peaceful days at Bamboo Nest has recharged our batteries. Cooking with Nok in the evenings was really fun and we learned a lot! Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The two cats are very sweet and love treats! Hopefully we will be back to visit another time!

Bamboo Next has relocated from it's distant mountain location to an eco village an easy trip from Chiang Rai. Lovely hosts Nok and Na give you personal welcome and care in this eco lodge built from recycled and repurposed materials. Conscous tourism. Loved our stay.

About twenty kilometers from Chiang Rai, Bamboo Nest is a little paradise on earth if you want to go green. Here we fall asleep lulled by the song of the frogs, the hoot of the owl, the murmur of the river and the call of the gekko which have advantageously replaced the noise of the air conditioning, otherwise useless in this cooler region at night. In this simple and welcoming nest, you can relax, help prepare Thai dishes (yum curries!), go see nearby waterfalls and ethnic villages, but also go on foot or by car for a trip with Nok who is never stingy with comments in perfect English, for a very reasonable price.
