Came to stay with my father in February. The atmosphere was good. The weather on the mountain was very good. The night will be cold and cold. Sipping on a beer in front of the room is very cool and comfortable. The rooms are clean, one of the first hotels on Doi Mae Salong, good service, price less than a thousand, considered comfortable and comfortable.

It is the first hotel on Doi Mae Salong. The atmosphere is like being in China. The uniqueness of this place is the scent of 10,000 lily flowers floating in the soft air. It is very fragrant. There are no other places on this mountain that have stayed here more than 10 years ago and are still the same. The accommodation is on a hill, descending until the lowest floor is on a hill next to the road. There is a Yunnan Chinese restaurant that serves dinner at the hotel. Pork leg mantou is very delicious. If you want to order Yunnan sukiyaki, you must order in advance. The property provides free breakfast.

Old resort in Mae Salong Rooms must be walked up. It will be difficult for the elderly. Rooms are adequate. Prices are moderately high. Breakfast is too little Most of the employees are foreigners. Communication is difficult. Overall, 7/10.

It's a total resort area. I was able to relax and enjoy the scenery while drinking local tea. You can also enjoy Yunnan cuisine and Taiwanese-style cuisine, and even though it is in Thailand, it is a place that reminds you of Yunnan, the land of tea.

The food tastes delicious and mellow. Yunnan hot pot is a full-flavored dish, rich in various herbs. Dipped with the perfect, delicious dipping sauce. The shiitake mushroom menu is made with a squeeze of lime for a wow-y flavor. I've never eaten it anywhere before, but let me tell you, it's really delicious.Soft pork leg that melts in your mouth Delicious stir-fried bitter melon shoots The service staff is very good. The tea here is fragrant. And it tastes the best I've ever eaten.

Our trip to this area was pre-pandemic times. I found my photos and thougt it woupd be nice to share.We had our lunch at this restaurant along the highway in Chiang rai. Coming from the tea plantation, we had a stopover for late lunch.Located by the highway, it is in a high elevation and had a nice picturesque view of the surrounding mountains.The restaurant had Chinese decors and also served mostly Chinese food. The explanation was that, the northern part of Thailand is near China, thus Chinese influences especially in food is prevalent.We were served a lot of interesting dishes. It was like a lauriat, food came one after another. And everything was delicious as far as I could recall.We had a feast, short of saying. A totally awesome experience on our first day in Thailand.
