Best hostel ever ! I spent a lot of days there ! The owners are really kind and Nice with everyone ! They'll recommand you a lot of things to visit around the city and the district ! You could easily stay here for a week without feeling bored ! You'll have fun there, they suggest some collectives activities every nights, you'll meet some good persons and New friends for sure on this place ! You should try it anyway !Love you and the team <3

I love this hostel so much! Amazing vibe, you get looked after amazing and will never be bored. From activities in the night to helping you with plans for the day with other travellers! Next to the 7/11;) and two cute little puppies plus a kitty. Rooftop showers which are super nice and clean. 100% stay here, you might never leave:)

This hostel is just amazing!I’ve been staying there two times and each time you feel yourself home with your family around🫶🏻Owners are the friendliest and most welcoming people so maybe they attract same travelers😊Anyway, don’t miss this stay! Highly recommend!

It's my favorite hostel in ChiangRai or even thailand. I stay here much longer than I thought. This hostel has clean shower, powerful water pressure and hot water, you'll love the shower. Bed is so confortable that i slept like a baby. They also offer delicious breakfast. Moreover, it's a home-vibe social hostel, where everyone can get to know each other and become friends really fast. There will be different activities every night to help everybody socialize, but it's not a party hostel. The staff will explain how to see the best of ChiangRai if you want to know, they also teach you how to do slow boat on your own, you can also do it with group tour if you are really tide on schedule. btw, they have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They always close on summer low season, recently reopen again.

The greatest hostel in Thailand, the owners Joe and First make you feel like a long lost friend upon arrival.. Comfortable clean spacious rooms, brilliant bathrooms on the roof , tasty breakfasts access to water tea n fruit all day. Sitting n playing with the 2 frenchies Miley and Stitch is hilarious fun. Sooo many group activities daily available for a social vibe, card n board games, nights out, temple trips. Waterfalls, plantations, karaoke , pool tournament, live music. So many things to do..Moped/bicycle rental can be arranged to do the trips ..Great jump off place for the Laos slow boat.

I arrived to Get Hi quite nervous as it was only my third time staying at a hostel in Thailand. I was immediately welcomed and felt at ease enough to ask questions about local activities and nearby restaurants. The owners, First and Joe, as well as the volunteers were all very friendly and I already felt like a long term friend starting off from day one. Every morning the staff helps people get started for the day with free breakfast and ideas for places to go. They even helped by encouraging different groups of guests to go together, which as a somewhat shy solo travel I found to be very helpful in putting myself out there.The hostel is very comfortable and it really does feel like home. There’s a TV and a pool and every night there’s an activity you have the opportunity to participate in. Karaoke was definitely my favorite, but hot pot night comes pretty close too!!And of course they have two super adorable french bulldogs (Miley and Stitch <3) and I would be lying if I said I didn’t choose this hostel because I have my own little grey frenchie at home that I was missing, but I left with room in my heart for two more frenchie friends and of course a lot of incredibly awesome human friends. I only stayed 9 short days, but I wish I could have stayed so much longer. I’ll miss Get Hi as much as I’ll miss Thailand. Thank you for everything I will definitely be back someday ❤️!

Grate place for a night or 2 week's to see All of the Northern part of Thailand The Golden Triangle. Prices are right just a Short walk from Both a Major Hospital and the Bar Soi in Chiang Rai. If I was staying on a budget and looking for a really nice place to stay this would be it. Only a 12 15 minute Walk to the Clock tower which is a must especially between 7pm and 9pm as it changes color's and plays the Song of Chiang Rai for a good 9 minutes. Very close to everything downtown has to offer and they have a nice secure place for you scooter or Big Bike for guests. Now the Staff are the owner's and I Can't say Enough Good things about them they are both Wounderful people who actually care about the people staying at their place. They are very helpful in getting you around Chiang Rai. This place also has a very good diversity of Guests from All over the World and it's very relaxing and just Good Vibes. If you are coming to Chiang Rai this is a Grate option for a good place to lay my Head.

Possibly the best hostel experience I’ve had so far on my travels! If you’re contemplating staying here just do it, you will not regret it. There was always a great atmosphere; the owners/volunteers tried their best to get everyone involved in activities whether it was card games crazy beer pong or magic tricks. It was in perfect location, very central and really close to a 7 eleven :) They also have 2 really cute French bulldogs.

Late review from our 1night stay on the 2nd-3rd January. Really warm friendly greeting from the owners, knew we only had 1 full day so gave us good recommendations where to go, they got us into our room pronto and sorted out a scooter for me.Scooter was brand new and excellent to drive, we headed to the white temple and really enjoyed walking around it.Rooms were perfect, the mattress was very comfortable especially being bunk bed and pillow was great. So we had peace-full nights sleep. Showers were warm and clean.Atmosphere was nice and relaxing there, everyone was friendly and was nice to have some drinks in the evening with everyone. The owners made sure all the solo travellers there weren’t left out and gave the option for people to go to dinner with each other which is nice.Location is spot on, can walk to main area and we found a nice food market which was fun.Seems like the place to be to get into Laos, as they give you all the information on the slow boat etc. we had a flight to Phuket so can’t comment on that but seemed pretty straight forward.And if I was to go to Laos I would stay back there and go from Get Hi.Breakfast was fine for something quick in the morning. And 2 very sweet French bulldogs who were very friendly.Thanks 🙏

The best hostel of my 3-month backpacking trip so far!I spent three nights there about a month ago and enjoyed every hour of it. The house with the adjacent garden is beautiful, the rooms and showers are very clean, Joe and First are friendly, loving, accommodating, the two dogs are fantastic.A very familiar, pleasant atmosphere, a good breakfast, nice volunteers.The perfect place to stay in Chiang Rai, especially if you plan to travel to Luang Prabang (Laos) by slow boat. The Get Hi Hostel provides extensive and foolproof advice.Absolute recommendation!

This is my first time writing a revirew because i want to give back to this place.The staff are so king and genorous, the owner really helps and encourege you to go to Phu Chi fa (Orders for you suitable bikes, tell u everything u need to know) and all of this effort for them to "lose momey on you" because you don't need to pay for the night you sleep there. The beds are the best i slept at in a hostel and the backpackers that come hete are great and adventures.

Absolutely amazing experience at this hostel! The hosts are amazing and super helpful for helping you plan your visit. They create a very fun and social environment. The rooms are clean, beds have curtains for privacy, and great showers! Also in a great location near lots of food and night markets.

Joe and First are seriously kind people. I felt super welcome. The beds are new and seriously comfy. The showers are new and clean. I could do my laundry here for free. They also provide free water, eggs, and bananas. Loads of spots to chill indoors or outdoors and connect with other travelers. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning work pretty good. The value for money is unbeatable, highly recommend it.

I think this was the best hostel I have ever stayed in and 99 percent of that is due to their hospitality. First is the nicest human you will ever meet. The moment you enter the hostel, it feels like home. Don't even think twice when choosing a hostel in chiang Rai. Trust me. Oh and 2 bonus points- their cute dog and the amazing breakfast that she prepares !

The best hostel I’ve stayed in during my time in Thailand! First & Joe are amazing and very welcoming, answered any questions we had about slow boat to Laos and the hostel is very social, felt like a family! Beds are super comfortable and laundry facilities are a great addition. Would highly recommend!

Get hi hostel is something special.it’s hard for me to put into words and i’m getting a bit emotional writing this. The owners the of the hostel, joe and first, are some of the most genuine kind hearted people you will ever meet. I only stayed for two weeks, but felt I could say forever. They make it their goal to make everyone feel comfortable, safe, happy, and AT HOME. As a solo traveler, it was so special for me to feel family and community. Expect card games, yummy breakfasts, and so many smiles. This hostel is soul food.Joe and First, thank you for making my time in Chiang Rai so special, card games and rainbow kitten surprise jam sessions will stay in my heart forever. I will be back.P.S (STAY LONGER, you won’t regret it xx)
