nothing but good things to note in my 2 night stay; new,clean rooms, king size bed, excellent quality appliances in the room, good breakfast, parking in front and in back ( 4 spaces in back);good english,approachable, friendly owner who lived in usa a number of years;good location (this is from a local) , walking to the main area of twon,the location is across the street from the Mekong river, some rooms have river view;might consider those rooms will be a little noisier as they front the river road;highly recommended

Have stayed here a few times and the upgrading and extension of the building has not changed its character or charm. Lucky and her staff are welcoming friendly and attentive. the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable with all you need for a short stay.Nice bathroom and shower, again clean and having a fridge and room tea/coffee is a nice touch. ( this is also available in breakfast room all day). The rooms overlooking the Meekong were quiet with small balconies. The hotel is well located to walk to the market and shop area (about 15 mins) and for a stroll down the river side. I am happy recommend the hotel for its value and friendly ness. Breakfast is good with 3 set choices, Thai style, Northern Thai and European.

Poor service even before staying. I called last night. Told in the morning it would be open for reservations. We have been waiting since morning. Went in and couldn't make a reservation. When I came in the evening, I was told it was all full. This is a plan 8 months in advance. That's enough. Very bad. Unprofessional answer.

Recommended accommodations facing the Mekong River Near the walking street Can walk (Walking Street is only on Saturdays) A room that sleeps 3 people is priced at 1200 baht, considered appropriate during the long holiday season. There is parking behind and in front of the hotel. The accommodation also has a cat.

We went to Chiang Saen suddenly. Plus it's Saturday where there is a walking street. I think the accommodation must be full. And it's true that every strip on the map was full until we came across a shelter on the Mekong River. But it's full if it's in the Agoda app, so try calling and asking. Oh my god, they have another type that I think is very lucky that it's always full. Because the room you get is good, the price is good, the room is good, there is parking, the service is good for the price of 6 red cards and you can easily walk to the walking street. Complete equipment in the roomDefinitely go to Chiang Saen again next time.
