KALUME RESORT

We are currently staying with Stefano at the resort and can only recommend this place! Here we have arrived in paradise 🏖 it is breathtaking and incredibly beautiful here. The facility is very well maintained, everyone is very accommodating and attentive, we don't want anything here. A massage with Tina is highly recommended, extremely relaxing and soothing, right in front of the beach with the sound of the sea in the background. Simply brilliant 😊 for us. The water is crystal clear and clean. The bungalows are very clean and cozy. The food at Stefano's is super delicious. There is no nightlife here, pure relaxation 😎 thank you very much for the beautiful days! See you next year 🥰

My husband and I stayed in this boutique resort with attached restaurant on Koh Kradan, certainly the highlight of our entire trip to Thailand. The island of Koh Kradan is heavenly, with turquoise sea and easily accessible coral reef, the most beautiful of the islands in the Andaman Sea.Coming to our stay at Kalume: Stefano and Daniela took care of everything down to the smallest details from the bungalows to the restaurant. We felt truly pampered. The environment is familiar and you feel at home in a very short time. Furthermore, there is really great attention to hygiene and eco-sustainable solutions, which we really appreciated.We have always had dinner there because the menu offers a great variety of dishes and each dish has always been delicious: pasta with many types of sauces, pizza, prawns and calamari (also cooked in oriental style) etc. There are even different types of tortelli, fresh homemade pasta according to their Emilian tradition, but also fish.Normally we are not people who have to eat Italian even abroad, quite the contrary, we like to eat well and it is impossible not to take advantage of such exquisite quality, which is not easy to find even in Italy.Coming to the people: Stefano and Daniela win you over with their friendliness and together they have nice chats... it's impossible not to quickly become friends. The local staff of the facility are also kind, helpful, polite and know how to work very well.Kalume is Italian hospitality at the top in a splendid Thai naturalistic context!

Very welcoming, run by Italians and the food is very good

Very pretty bungalows by the sea on one of the quietest beaches on the island (fewer day tourists).The reef in front of the hotel is very beautiful and accessible on foot at low tide, at high tide you have to swim a little (be careful where you step, watch out for stone fish and jellyfish!).Bungalow facing the sea, a little small but functional, no air conditioning but the fan does the job at night and the bungalows are ventilated with the sea wind.Stefano welcomes you as at home, the Italian restaurant is to die for. Breakfasts (American tested) with fresh homemade bread, real bacon, foccacia, real delicious juice!All the staff are adorable and very caring, water is given with 2 tokens per day personally we didn't even use them all in 3 days...Resort plastic free be careful not to leave anything plastic in the rooms or you will be fined (200 baht).Based on reading the reviews of other hotels, probably the best value for money on the island.

Our stay at Kalume Eco Boutique Resor on Koh Kradan was a truly heavenly experience.The island is the most beautiful in Thailand in our opinion, crystal clear sea and coral reef easily accessible.The resort is located 15 minutes walk from the pier, you can book pick up for 100 baht per person.Despite the high season, we enjoyed incredible peace which made our stay even more memorable.Stefano and Daniela, the Italian owners, stand out for their impeccable attention to detail, from the warm welcome, to the thoughtful assistance for guests and in the extraordinary Italian cuisine.The sea view bungalows, although small, are authentic gems. Nothing is missing: top quality and scented sheets and towels, a large bathroom, mosquito nets everywhere, a beautiful outdoor balcony. All immersed in a wonderful garden. Despite the absence of air conditioning, you will not miss it, since it is possible to leave everything open and, if necessary, take advantage of an efficient fan.A great added value is the resort's plastic-free commitment.2 beach sarongs and a thermal carafe of water are provided per person per day, demonstrating truly commendable attention to detail and commitment to sustainability.The cuisine, strictly Italian, is prepared with great care for the raw materials. Everything is cooked, plated and served with elegance and attention.Excellent breakfast!This culinary touch helps make Kalume Eco Resort a truly unique place.When you want to go back to eat Thai, you will find good restaurants within walking distance.The resort, located on a roadless island, is expertly run, demonstrating the owners' uncanny ability to make everything run flawlessly, despite logistical challenges.Stefano and Daniela demonstrate how a passion, supported by professionalism, dedication, attention to detail and the search for things done well, creates an extraordinary result.
