The location in the middle of the island is perfect for all three beaches and the paths there through the jungle are short and beautiful. :)The bungalows are quite simple but really spotlessly clean and they were cleaned daily during the stay.The family that runs the resort has been on Koh Kradan for ages and are all super nice and hospitable. They were the most relaxing days of our 6 week trip to Thailand!

We ate there on the way back from Sunset Beach. It was good, nothing to complain about. Idyllically located in nature. Friendly service. We can't rate the rooms because we didn't sleep there.

We only went to their Italian restaurant which was very good. They serve Thai food and Italian food. One time i got pad Thai and another time i got penne Ragu, both very delicious. You will find this place on the path to sunset beach. They also have rooms but we stayed at another resort.

Cons:Comercial. If you consume goods in the built-in restaurant you are going to be charged for every tiny bit. The owner is italian but prepares you a coffee by dissolving some granulate you barely can describe as instant coffee and charges you 2 times higher than normal Thai level.After paying lots of money for an overnight stay, you are going to be charged for the snorkeling gear, if you want some. But not as a whole but fins and mask seperately, of course.Pros:His wife is Thai and very friendly. The food is expensive but okay. The whole compound is pretty.

The sweetest little spot, in the middle of paradise.A small family restaurant with wery nice homemade food. Fresh vegetables and lokal seafood.The huts is just like expected, primitive and cozy.The family is friendly and the kids loved the stay.5 big stars from us.

What can I say... I would go back a thousand times. Magnificent place in the middle of nature, newly refurbished bathrooms, with a short walk you can reach all the beaches. Helpful staff, high standard restaurant with good prices and generous portions. I tasted almost the entire menu and I have to say that they were the best dishes I ate in Thailand.Wonderful owners who make you feel at home, but above all a beautiful and very intelligent child who cheers up the environment.

We only popped into this resort for a couple of drinks on our way to sunset beach.The staff were extremely friendly .There were bungalows amongst a beautiful jungle ( which looked old). this place definitely has potential but needs a few thousand pounds spent on it

Paradise Lost truly heavenly resort!The habits and the soul of the guests return to the origins, to the essential needs, to the primordial existence...raised bungalows, "canopy" moustiquares on each bed, lost silences and catering that satisfies all the palates from every part of the world!Despite all this "primordiality" there is Wi-Fi and electricity during the day, so as not to break that umbilical cord with the techno world to which we are now accustomed... absolutely recommended especially to those who want to rediscover their atavistic genes and the essentiality!Gianni and Ple his wife will welcome you with a mixture of oriental and... Magical place in the middle of the island jungle. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. Would recommend at least two. Beaches are no problem within walking distance. Just a few meters to both beaches. Luggage will be picked up and delivered at the pier by the friendly owner.

I was sad to hear that the last reviewer mentioned this place was closed. I am in Koh Kraden now and I just went over there and it’s open again! New owners and a new restaurant, it’s back in business! …

Visited Kradan in Jan 22 and was gutted to see this place had closed. In fact the jungle has pretty much claimed it back now....real shame. I doubt it can be restored either, but maybe another budget place will appear in the future.

Clean and well maintained facility. Our bungalow was a bit small, there were certainly no hooks to hang clothes on.Pleasant welcome with a cold drink.Good breakfast, choice of different options.It's a shame that there was little attention paid to the management of resources (an example: several external lights still on well into the day, I used to turn them off myself!). Given the general conditions of various Thai islands, in my opinion, this is an important aspect that MUST be taken into account.
