Bungalow (so to speak) very very rustic, fungus growing in the sink/sink, no cleaning during the one week stay. Fortunately the beach was very close and the Thai pasta was delicious.

Great place to stay at Koh Ngai. The only chill place to stay on the island. It's surrounded by resorts but you'll find it really relax there. It's managed by a very nice Thai family. The room is simple but efficient: AC is on from 5pm to 9am and their is a refrigerator (but kind of noisy). Shower doesn't have heater but always at the perfect temperature. Their is a restaurant and bar with chairs looking to the sea. PARADISE for snorkelling. The coral reef is accessible directly from the beach, no need of a tour or a boat. It's heaven to see fish and corals 🪸

The location is good. You are in front of the beach. Economic option, certain points of which must be taken into account:- the bedding is bad, basic bangalow,- cleaning is only done every other day,- there are cicadas (well, it's not their fault) which emit their song quite loudly and for a long time very early,- air conditioning is only available from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m.,- the music in the bar starts quite early in the morning and can be heard all the way to the rooms,- water cuts,- cold water only for the shower,- the hotel restaurant is not great and more expensive than others on the island,- unfriendly staff.

Cheapest on the island with AC included, but not by a big margin. The room itself is fine however the staff weren't. From the moment we arrived till we left a few days later not a single word was spoken to us. The restaurant area looks abandoned, the dive shop looks like it's been turned into storage and some of the tents have collapsed. Also, the staff and their family just take up the entire guest seating at the front of the rooms so there's no chance to use the hammocks or seats. Was very frustrating with lots of kids running round burning stuff. Meant we had to sit in the sand or pay to use the resort beach side seating. If we went again we'd spend just a little bit more to stay at the other resorts.

We spent five nights here with our children (3 years, 9 years). The huts are functional, the water is cold, but you really don't need warm water in this heat. The AC is pleasant. The staff is fantastic. We were looked after warmly and every wish of the new children was fulfilled. The food was great. The hut is a bit narrow for four people, but it didn't bother us.There is a star deduction for the closed padistation, which blocks the view of the sea. Unfortunately there is also some building material lying around.

Wr stayed 1 week and the bungalow was basic but totally comfortable with a/c, coffee and tea always available. The location is simply the best, our bungalow close to a wonderful tree, 30 mt from the beach, nature immersion. One problem was the uncomfortable pillow, too big and high, but I asked for a softer thinner one, they gave me, no problem. Many dead ants in the morning in the bathroom due to some trap, I guess, but hei, it is nature. The food was the best on the island and it is the superb value of this place, together with the location on the beach. We want to come back!!!

They have a few new ac basic "flatpack" style bungalows that have been recently built in addition to the existing tents. Cost approx 24 euro a night in March 2023 room only. …

I didn’t book this online when I was looking for accommodation. They should remove photos of the tents - they were misleading. The open air bathroom was also daunting as this is set in a jungle setting, I was afraid of animals etc coming in to the huts! There were only ants. And lots of hornbills (on the island) but they do not enter the huts. The airconditioned huts are the most reasonable on this island. The food is tasty, however, the prices are high. I patronised them a couple of times but ate mainly somewhere else - there are choices on this island! Generally the staff is nice. Someone posted that Lek is the owner but he is not. And snorkeling right on the beach.
