Mr. Jes is the best and warmest contact person and we are very grateful for the numerous tips he gave us about Koh Mook and excursions on our own on the first day!! Thanks to him, we had a great time on the island and were finally able to book transport to Ao Nang that he organized very well! Thank you Mr Jes

I spent 4 nights at PK's place. This family is very nice, the room is very comfortable, bicycles are provided for free. The gentleman is very professional in organizing excursions. I particularly enjoyed the "one day trip" to Koh Kradan. I will come back

ReviewsWe stayed for 5 nights at the colourful PK family home, located right near the pier and village center, and we loved it. Jes, the owner, and his family are incredibly attentive and helpful. Jes assisted us with all our transfers to and from Koh Mook, including a wonderful tour to the Emerald Cave and Koh Kradan. He provided us with insightful tips on spotting sea cows and hermit crabs, along with a hand-drawn map of the island indicating where to find good coffee, authentic Thai Southern cuisine, beautiful beaches, and scenic views. Jes also offered rustic bicycles free of charge, which we used every day to reach Charlie Beach—a fairly easy 15-20 minute ride away, with only a slight incline. Although he also rented scooters for 200 baht per day, we chose bicycles as we enjoyed the exercise and were environmentally conscious.PK also has a well-stocked mini-market with reasonably priced items. They had almost everything we needed, including mosquito repellents (including room plug-ins and refills), refrigerated alcohol (including beer and wine coolers), snacks like peanuts and cashews, and travel-sized laundry powder. They even had hair ties.Since the pier is quite long, Jes picked us up and dropped us off at the guesthouse for every transfer on his tuk-tuk. The room and bathroom were clean and of decent size, and housekeeping was available upon request. We appreciated having the back room as it was quieter. All rooms had a terrace with chairs and a table, allowing us to enjoy the small tropical garden. There was also a hose available for rinsing our feet after returning from the beach.Despite our personal preference for neutral decor (the rooms were either bright pink or turquoise green, and the building was orange), the room was highly functional. It had good air conditioning, a fan, Wi-Fi and a large fridge for our drinks. There was hot water available for showers, but since it was super hot in May, we didn't need to use it. The room provided a shelf for our belongings and ample hanging space for towels and clothes, including an outdoor drying rack. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner were also supplied.Initially, we were given a synthetic leopard print blanket, which we found too warm for the weather. However, Jes kindly swapped it for a lightweight cotton duvet, which we preferred. Jes kept us well-informed about a planned electricity outage in the village (approximately from 8:45 to 17:00) during one day of our stay, which allowed us to prepare accordingly. He even provided a large water bucket to help manage the water supply during this time.The family generously provided us with free mosquito coils for our terrace and surprised us with a local Thai chicken biryani breakfast rice from a street food vendor on the morning of our checkout. It was a delightful gesture! Otherwise amazing!

Booked a snorkeling tour and a trip to Hat Yai through Mr Jes. He's so enthusiastic and helpful and full of information. I also rented a scooter from the shop and had no problems.

I had a great stay here. The room had everything I needed at a good price, so I even extended my stay. This was my favorite island in Thailand. You feel like you belong here, as though you’re part of a community rather than visitors just passing through. A very special place.
