Please don't trust this resort. I lost money trying to book a room here.Their availability is not accurate. I made a reservation... It was confirmed by Agoda.Then I bought tickets for my family to the island....the resort canceled our reservations leaving us with no where to stay and boat tickets we couldn't use.The money refunded did not make it for what was lost.Skip this resort... Otherwise they might cancel last minute with no options.

The rooms are decent, the owner is very nice, free water when u ask from the fridge, little balcony to chill in the eve or out the sun in the day. This is probably the best place to stay on the island it's a 8 min walk to Charlie beach or 15 into town but Charlie beach is where you want to be.

Your experience here will depend on what bungalow you get – some are very cute, some are... Pretty run down, actually.Here's a guide as of February 24.*Aircon huts are obviously the best.*Small bungalows are small indeed but have been renovated so they look nice and have useful stuff like small wardrobes and shelves in the bathrooms.*The ones sold as "large" on Agoda at the back are definitely spacious, but... There's nowhere near enough spots to hang clothes or put your stuff, so a lot of my clothes ended up sitting on the floor for days. I don't particularly recommend this type of bungalow, it's definitely not worth the extra money you spend.The upside: the mattress was fantastic.The bathroom here needs a fresh layer of paint, hooks & a shelf; the whole bungalow needs a thorough cleaning, a little more love and maintenance.If I came back I'd probably choose one of the small bungalows. All this space is useless if I have to chuck my clothes on the floor.*Grounds are well maintained and beautiful.*WIFI works well and is reliable (for regular internet surfing)*The lady who welcomed us was nice, there was some sort of mess up with reservations but she solved it on day 1. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the family because we were out most of the time, but when we interacted, they were friendly.*The best thing about this place is its location: surrounded by nature and in the quietest part of the island, close to the most pleasant beach which has tree shade in the morning and sunset views.*We stayed for four days and there was no cleaning, ever, other than the maids showing up asking us to bring the bins out to take the contents (not the bag 😅). Neither did we get clean towels.*The maids can get really noisy and they love to chat at 8am on the path running amongst the huts.We were woken up by them most mornings we were here, which is good for getting to the beach early, but not so good if you're actually into the idea of sleeping in as part of your idea of relaxation.One afternoon they interrupted their afternoon chat on the path to walk in on my sleeping husband in his underwear to give us new water, shouting WATEEER and waking him up (why not just leave them on the outside table? 😅🙈 People are here to rest...?) So be aware of this, lol*Lots of good food options around. My favourite were Hilltop just across the canal & Water side on the path to Charlie beach (cheaper)*Useful shop next door for water & coffee cans and mosquito repellent if you run out with super nice owners.It was the one budget option this side of the island, away from town, which is excellent because this beach is a million times better than the one in the village.Choose your bungalow wisely so you get more bang for your buck and don't end up frustrated. Large bungalows offer no advantages, really, other than a large empty space and a king-size bed.

Good value for money. Reservation made via Agoda. The location close to Charlie Beach for the sunset and the calm of the establishment are a real plus. The breakfasts are plentiful for the price. A few weak points unfortunately, no air conditioning in the classic bungalows but not really disturbing because most of the day is in the shade. Bungalow in the shade so difficult to dry anything with humidity. My room is ok but we had stains on the sheets, the bathroom was not very clean and no hot water. Finally, the pool was green, which didn't bother us for swimming despite everything.

We had a very nice time here. Super friendly staff. She brought water towels and a new trash bag every day. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choices and freshly prepared. We had a room with air conditioning which worked great!

The accommodation is amazing, a short walk with bungalows in the middle of the jungle, 10-15 minutes walk from Charlie Beach.The bungalows are clean and have mosquito netting on the doors and windows, so you can have everything open without having to fight with mosquitoes.The owner of the house is very nice and despite the language difficulties, you end up understanding her. He helped us a lot with the taxi to and from the port.Breakfast is 50b/person and there is variety and it is quite large, because it includes free watermelon/pineapple and instant coffee.Every day they give you 2 800ml bottles of water and there is a refrigerator to keep it cold.At night, even with the fan off, the temperature is cool and pleasant, and we rested very well.It has a swimming pool, although we didn't get to use it because we were at the beach all day.During the day it is quite hot in the bungalow, even with the fan on.There are times when the water runs out, because it is a tank that they refill, and you have to wait to be able to wash your hands/teeth or take a shower. It is good to know in advance and understand that it is an island and there are not the same facilities as on the mainland.The shower water is cold, but with the heat on the island, it's almost an advantage.
