We absolutely loved the beach here. It has incredible snorkeling, especially around the drop off, and is way less crowded than the main beach and so peaceful and serene.We did not love the experience of staying at this “resort.” We struggled with sharing the space with mice, washing with dirty bucket water, waking up at 6am when they cut the electricity (including for the fan), and the fact we had to pay extra for everything including breakfast, drinking water, hot water and ice. It was fine for a couple nights but we had to cut our stay short and move to the other side where the amenities are much better.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here. And for me one of the best snorkeling spots in Thailand. Day trippers rarely get lost here.The rooms were simple and good. The only small downer was the lack of running water - showering was done with a bucket and drinking water provided.

1 month trip to Thailand with 3 children 10 6 and 3y.It’s heavenly here.Basic room (especially the bathroom) but very affordable and clean.It should still be noted that the generators run non-stop at night. So it's quiet with noise.Number 1 location for snorkeling!Human and simple welcome. Family here we clear our plate.

Very nice place with a funny aunt in the restaurant. (She can speak English) but she is Thai. Nice food but still very good. Recommend higher than higher than higher than highest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Best place on Koh Kradan island.A classic Thai bungalow place just at the best beach. The staff is very nice.The small lady (Ubon) running the restaurant is very nice and will take care of you. Wonderful person with such a nice laugh.The coral reef is huge and superb for snorkeling 3h after low tide.Amazing variety of fishes, small and big.To get out in an easy way with no stones follow the rope as it takes you out in the sandbank.Check tides via some app to check if you can walk the beach way. Typically high tide at 1200 and low tide 1800 in Jan/Feb.Such a fantastic place to visit.

We're just sitting here eating, papaya salad and the massaman curry are awesome!😍It is a very quiet part of the island, at low tide you can walk across the beach.The prices here are significantly better than the very overpriced prices in virtually all other restaurants and resorts.The people here are super friendly and the beer is actually cheaper than in the small supermarket on the main beach. (Chang 50 Baht)We love it!

Unfortunately we had very bad experiences. We only stayed one night. The footpath through the jungle is blocked by fallen trees, so the only option is to take a boat taxi 100B/person to get to the accommodation. The cabins are outdated. There is only electricity between 6pm and 6am, which is generated by a generator. This is located near the huts and can be heard clearly at night. The water system had problems so we only got a bucket of water. Internet didn't work. The prices are way too expensive. The hosts speak virtually no English.If you want to sleep on Koh Kradan, I would recommend spending a little more money and renting a reasonable resort.

It is a place to stay that is closest to the sea. It is quiet and you can snorkel and see coral as well. But if you come by ferry The boat will stop at the beach.Board, we have to call a boat to take us to Ao Niang accommodation for another 10 minutes. due to the rising tide But if anyone comes by longtail boat, you must tell them to drop you off at Ao Niang Resort. Accommodation for 1200 per night is considered a good value. Going for a swim in the sea and looking at the coral in front of the accommodation is worth it.

Beautiful and best spot on the island. The rooms are not meeting our standards, too warm at night, too old, and a smelly bathroom. But the location and the friendliness of the staff makes it all up. For snorkling this is THE place to be 💙🩵💚❤️

This bungalow is located away from the pier on Koh Kradan.Like other accommodations, electricity and internet are only available after 6pm.There is no air conditioner, just a fan, but there is a shower and toilet, so you should think of it as just for your overnight stay.The resort also has a restaurant, so you can enjoy food and beer here.The location is great.I visited some of the snorkeling spots on Koh Kradan, but it seemed like the area around this inn had the highest clarity.The coast around this area is surrounded by coral reefs from a close distance, so you can reach high and low points on the sea floor where there are many schools of fish by swimming about 100 meters.The coast on the pier side was about 200m.Also, there are only a few people staying in this bungalow, so it's quiet.The problem is that you can only walk to and from the pier before and after low tide, which is about two hours before and after 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.Therefore, when you arrive around 12:00 noon, call the inn manager and ask them to charter a boat for you. It's 100 baht.Kradan Island is a tourist spot from surrounding islands, so a lot of people come to play around the pier.If you want to enjoy the atmosphere of Koh Kradan as a hidden gem, we recommend staying at this resort.

Amazing place to stay on Ko Kradan. Resort is reasonably priced and you can’t get a bungalow closer to the beautiful beach. Amazing reef just outside your room. During hight tide you have to get there through the jungle. Power is available during night, food is ok and the owner is very nice. You can pay by PayPal which was a life saver for me! Awesome place, I will come back there.

We didn’t sleep here but came only for the beach. This one and it’s smaller sister are the best beaches on the island. The rustic restaurant offers basic dishes and the staff is kind of slow but very helpful and friendly. Even if it doesn’t appear to be like this on first sight.

The whole Island is overprized. This one is the only cheaper Option on the Island. But for Thai Levels its still ultra expensive and the food is Not good at all. Koh kradan is the worst Island in Thailand i have been to

Beautiful location and stunning beach. The elderly caretakers were so friendly and kind. Accommodation is very basic and run down though. The bungalows are mouldy inside. The owners need to revamp this place before the tourists return next season.

The location were the "resort" is located is very nice. Bungalows are Okey (usual basic acomodation in Thai island, expensive and very very basic), but the worst for me has been the food. With so little choice for food in the island ( you need to walk through the jungle to get to other resort and I didn't do it) spending 5days and 4night in here has been rough as I had to eat every day from their restaurant... I ended up fasting the last day.... Every dish I tried was a disappointment, they use instant noodles for their dishes and add a meet or squid to them, but even the flavouring is the one from the instant noodles package. I lost weight from not eating or eating only once a day... I wouldn't come back just because I don't want to see myself in this situation again we're I cannot find anything decent to eat.On the last day I ask for help to get a longtail boat to the main beach since I had to take the speedboat to Krabi. It seemed like it was too difficult for the staff to help me and they made a call but eventually they said that nobody was answering.... They told me it was easy to walk.... They pointed me in one direction. It was a very narrow "path" throught the jungle were you can easily be beating by a snake a scorpion or any other creature.... They did not advise me about it and I was in shorts, in flipflops and was eaten by Tiger moskito... Exposing myself badly to get any of the moskito born disiase.... I mean they could just have told me.... Conclusion they tell you how to get there but no help once you have checked out.... Veeeery bad experience....
