An quiet,small hotel with very helpful and friendly staff.Free breakfast was included. Directly opposite Japenese food can be purchased from a small takeaway restaurant.Around 5 minutes walk to the end of the quiet. Soi are many restaurants on a busier street.The hotel staff were so kind to offer food delivery by using their own phone to order.The beds should be mentioned for their amazing comfort,amongst the best I have ever experienced on my travels.It is important to note that there is no lift for those with mobility difficulties.The staff took care of taking the luggage upstairs, which was very much appreciated.

Went back and forth between giving this place three or four stars, solely because the staff were exceptional - leaps and bounds better than the property itself. Ultimately this is a not-inexpensive hotel that over-promises and under-delivers. 3.5, were that an option.Highlights are the staff and the breakfast, which is à la carte. Plates are small but guests are allowed to order twice, which staff pointed out unprompted seeing me return to the sparse buffet for the second time. Cooked to order food is excellent, buffet is mediocre.And then there’s the rooms. Dirty, with an ant problem. Charges for instant coffee - only 10 baht, which actually makes it even worse in my eyes…for the sake of a few pennies this hotel is happy to inconvenience its guests. Water is complimentary, as with every other hotel in Thailand (tea and coffee are also complimentary at seemingly every hotel but this one).The sign above the toilet, urging guests not to flush contraceptives, is off putting…beds are used for two things, and hotel beds have seen their fair share of both, but putting a cartoon condom above the toilet is an unwelcome reminder of the activities of guests past, and makes the hotel seem like the kind of place you’d rent by the hour. The faux satin sheets don’t help with that image.Bathroom has solid lines of tiny ants crawling up and down. This being SE Asia even the most luxurious property will have some insects, but the small ants here permeated the bathroom. I found them on towels, the toilet, shower area especially. Grime on the walls, hairs visible on the floors, less clean than comparable properties and would benefit from a fresh coat of paint.Amenities promised are not delivered. The location of this hotel is far from everything - a fact I overlooked because of the free bicycle rental. Of the four bicycles available, two were what can generously be called death traps, with both brakes out of order. One other had the seat collapse as I rode around the parking lot to see if it was as bad as its cousins. I gave up on the fourth.The gym had four pieces of equipment, of which one isn’t operational. For the better though, since it is so small any more than one person would be tight.Wifi very weak, could not hold a video call.This is not priced as a budget hotel by Thai standards, but the amenities on offer give that impression. The staff are lovely, but cannot redeem the rooms and property itself. Happily stored my luggage before and after check-in/out, and offered to help with taxis if Grab didn’t work (it did).

Great location and quiet at the end of a soi. Service is 5 star with friendly and attentive staff.Would have given 5 stars but this the first hotel in Thailand, I've lived here 12 years, that charged for coffee in the room. Understand drinks and snacks, but not one free packet?Nice coffee downstairs with breakfast.

The Bliss Ubon Hotel lives up to every letter in its name! I challenge anyone to find a better experience (at least for the money) in Ubon or anywhere else in Thailand.The rooms are very clean, fresh, bright, and spacious! And the friendly staff provide regular cleaning of the room, floors, and entire hotel surrounding areas, inside and out.The hotel offers excellent meals in the morning that can even suffice for the whole day: fruit, vegetables, meat and/or egg proteins as well as rice, homemade bread with butter and jams, and desserts! Incredibly, this can all be included in the price of the room! The food is very delicious and the waitstaff is extremely polite, quiet, unobtrusive, and highly professional. The chef is a young, vibrant, and happy leader, creating a comfortable, welcoming, and scrumptious experience every day!The front staff speak very good English and provide continuous, outstanding help in arranging taxis, guidance on where to go for shopping, tourism, and even fixing a broken zipper on a pair of pants—just down the street for an insanely low 30 baht! (The zipper works super well, looks great, and kept a favorite pair of pants dutifully in service!)The owners, Francois and Anne, are people of exceptionally kind, beautiful, and caring natures! They were extraordinarily helpful in many ways, and they genuinely reached out to help us on many occasions without even being asked, simply from their magnificent hearts! They are truly incredibly loving people who have created a most fantastic, supportive situation with their hotel.As a stunning bonus, we were placed in a top floor room on the back side of the hotel, where we witnessed gorgeous sunrises every day, and when we returned to the hotel at the appropriate time, witnessed equally exquisite sunsets in the front of the hotel. The hotel is designed and miraculously located to make the most of viewing these gorgeous natural patterns throughout the day, if you’re fortunate to be around the place at the right times…The hotel has brilliant access to two roads on opposite sides of the building, making entering and exiting much easier than other places that might otherwise be jammed into a soi (small road) with limited access.The hotel is an amazing gem, highly recommended, and treasured for the absolutely extraordinary times that we’ve experienced here. Please don’t miss this exceptional find nor the immeasurable benevolence of Ubon Ratchathani!

True value for money. Lovely hotel within vicinity of Ubon cultural and religious sites and immediate adjacency to eateries . Good breakfast mix of Western and Thai food provided. The home made sourdough bread and traditional thai delicacies is not to be missed. Clean and modern decor with amenities provided. The provision of bicycles is an added value. The staff are engaging and will make your stay worthwhile.

The hotel is in a dead end alley. The entrance may be narrow. But there is ample parking, free breakfast, Thai desserts as well. The restaurant has several sofa seating areas, beautifully decorated, 24-hour fitness center, OK bathroom, OK room, beautiful, wide bed, but the bathroom door has a lot of peeling paint. Coffee packets in the room cost 10 baht per packet.

Fabulous hotel. Been here 4 times. Most comfortable beds and soft duvet in the world. Very friendly staff, excellent free breakfast, both western and Thai selections. Simply a class place at budget prices
