So we arrived at 21 p.m in the evening at the aerport and did not know where to stay; so we called this hostel and they picked us up und were so friendly and open to us!! they cooked us at 22 p.m., and the next day they gave us different cake to test, taught us how to use bow and arrow and made a tour with us to the center and market. They even got information for us for our bus in the evening and they drove us to the bus station and waited with us. You will never have a better traditional experience than that and you will never find better hosts!! We loved them

Wonderful place. With wonderful owners. This the kinda place you just want to stay and never leave. Quiet place. Home made delicious bread and jam. Friendly dogs and chokdee the turtle❤️.

one of the best hostels i’ve ever been to! It started as a cafe, then developed into a hostel when people kept asking if they could stay. It’s owned by a cute family. They’re so kind and have very good english. Unfortunately I only stayed one night, but I want to come back to stay more. They’re recovering from the pandemic so when I went, they only had one room/tent available but it was very comfortable and only 150 baht. I slept the best I had in weeks there. They picked me up from the bus station, gave me some food, and showed me some archery! In the morning they took me on a little tour of some places in Khon Kaen and out for lunch. Before I left, i also got a coffee there for 50 baht and it was one of the best coffees i’ve ever had 💖 after lunch they took me to my next destination. I can’t wait to come back! A hidden gem.

The owners are very very good people. And the coffee is excellent. They also have a very simple hostel connected to their shop, the bed was clean and simple (all I needed). I would stay here again.

The host is very friendly!! Using the bathroom and toilet may be a bit inconvenient. But what was better than that was that although it was a dormitory, each bed had a partition so it felt like a private room, which was different and nice.The coffee was delicious, but the homemade bread was the best dessert (I don't know if they sell it, but they brought it to me sometimes when I was in the living room).The closest convenience store is 7-Eleven at the gas station on the left as you leave the accommodation and head toward the lake.There's an amusement park open every night at Lake Park, and it's fun to look around there. If you have kids, it would be great to play with them. There are so many things to do.There is a department store called Fairy Plaza nearby, and there is a Daiso-like place called Moshimoshi. It seems like a place where you can buy daily necessities and gifts at low prices.The night market, which is always open in the evening, is a 10- or 15-minute walk away. It's about a distance away, and a little further away, there's a night market on Walking Street that only opens on Saturdays, so I really recommend you go there. It is smaller than Chiang Mai Night Market, but there are far fewer foreigners, so it is good to see. And a variety of food is a bonus.Dontan Market has more performances and is structured in the form of stalls rather than street stalls.
