We had the pleasure of participating in the “Rice Planting and Buffalo Showering” activity at Hang Tueng Farm, and it was truly an experience of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and provided us with traditional farmer costumes, which added a fun and authentic touch. Em was amazing. She was our guide and spoke perfect English.The day started with feeding and showering the friendly Raima buffalo, an experience that was both unique and heartwarming. The hands-on rice planting demonstration was fascinating, and we were given plenty of opportunities to get our hands dirty and learn the traditional methods. The surrounding rice fields provided a stunning backdrop, making the experience even more special.The experience was topped off with a delicious lunch featuring local dishes, including mango sticky rice that was absolutely delicious. We even got to paint some umbrella's and take them home!This activity is suitable for all ages, whether you’re a family, a couple, or just traveling solo, you’ll leave with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for Thai culture and agriculture. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.Many thanks to Em!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at Hang Tueng Farm. This was truly the most unique experience we've had in Chiang Mai, and I highly recommend booking their signature package.From my first correspondence with them to book the experience, right through to the end – everything was perfect!I organized this experience as a surprise gift for my husband for a very special occasion. When we arrived at the farm, we were warmly greeted by Em, who gave me a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers and a refreshing herbal drink – what a fantastic start!We were provided with farming clothes, boots, arm covers, and gloves, and once we were ready, the fun began. The farm itself is well-laid out and incredibly peaceful. We were guided by Em, a lovely Thai lady who spoke excellent English, and Uncle Serd, a professional farmer. After feeding and showering Raima, the buffalo, we took a short break in one of the huts, where they treated us to fresh coconuts to hydrate – even the timing of this break was perfect. They even had a sharp bamboo stick to pierce the coconut, which was a sweet touch. Throughout the experience, Em kindly took videos and photos of us.We learned various techniques for uprooting rice, and my favorite part was the actual rice planting. This was a first-ever experience for us, and the sensation of mud on our feet was both novel and fun!After the rice planting, they prepared the most delicious green curry for us, followed by mango sticky rice for dessert. As a gift, they gave us umbrellas to paint – another thoughtful touch!We loved every moment of our time at this farm. Everything was so well-organized. Thank you so much, Hang Tueng Farm, for the wonderful experience – it’s a memory we’ll cherish for life. Your farm deserves to be included in every list of must-do activities in Chiang Mai.

The accommodation is clean and natural. We stayed in 2 rooms, Baan Long Khao and Baan Hani. It was very private. The atmosphere was good, not hot. There was a place to cook and a grill. Suitable for relaxing as a group or a gang of many people. It will be a lot of fun and the price is not expensive. Breakfast is almost delicious. The taste is a bit bland.

Amazing Thai cultural center and restaurant. Nature place closes to the city. There are rice fields, gardens, ducks, rabbits and buffaloes, etc. There are many workshops as well. Perfect for anyone and family. The food is amazing. Highly recommended.
