I came to this island for some peace and quiet after the busy Koh Phi Phi and Aonang. At the first hostel in Koh Lanta I couldn't sleep because of a roommate who snored extremely loudly, so I booked another accommodation. So this one.I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. The bathroom sink was so dirty upon arrival that there were ants everywhere. It is extremely noisy here and stuffy. I stayed here for 2 nights and got barely 2 hours of sleep both nights. And that's because there are roosters walking around everywhere in the neighborhood that started crowing at 1:30 in the morning and it doesn't stop. Sleeping during the day is also not an option because those animals are everywhere and crow all day long. I'm surprised no one mentions that in the reviews. You can also hear the people in the nearby bungalows very well.So I came for some rest, but that didn't work out at all. I'm really disappointed about this. I think this is the most disappointing place I've ever been.

Lovely stay in an amazing location! Peaceful quiet and great vibe! Owner is very nice and helpful. We accidentally booked a non AC room but in reality wasn’t too hot at night at all and had a great stay!

Green chilli was a great stay for us. Amazing location right on the beach with a restaurant and bar. Owner was very friendly and booked tour/taxis for us which was very helpful. The bungalow was basic but was perfect for a couple of night (could’ve stayed longer), nice quiet area surrounded with palm trees it was beautiful. Thank you

After we spontaneously ate at Green Chilli on the beach, we took a quick look at the bungalows and booked directly on site! The price is great if you take into account that these are bungalows with basic amenities. Please don't expect luxury for the price!! The bed was hard but still comfortable, the bed linen was fresh and the location, 50 meters from the beach, is unbeatable! In the morning you can open the shutters and look at the beach between the meter-high palm trees. We can highly recommend it.
