This guesthouse is set within a beautiful garden. I stayed in room 7 on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the garden from the balcony. There was a fan, wardrobe, small end table, kettle, and hot water shower in a wet style bathroom. The bed was super firm, with the typical hard Thai mattress. Water and coffee were replenished each day. No amenities like AC, fridge, or TV. I was there during the rain season, and it rained all day, every day, so if you plan to visit during this time, be sure to bring a book. Wifi was passable for email, but not robust enough for streaming video. There is a carpark big enough for 3 cars. The restaurant was closed when I was there, probably because it was low season. Actually, all the restaurants and coffee shops close to the guesthouse were closed, and I had to walk downhill to the main part of town to get food, not too convenient when it's raining. I went to this place based on the advice from a friend, who said that the owner was very kind, however I was not lucky enough to meet the owner. Be aware that in the low season I could not find any staff on site when I arrived after lunch. I had to ask someone I met on the street what to do, and they called the staff and then I was given the key to my room. Be aware also that English is not commonly spoken in much of this village, so be ready to practice your Thai language skills. Overall, there are guesthouses with a better view and with better amenities, however I can't compare value for money because I have only stayed at this one place. I plan to return in winter and hopefully meet the owner for a chat.

Accommodation met the expectations cause we weren't expecting much from a small village. And the price-quality ratio was quite right. But all the communication was pretty bad. They didn't answer us in Agoda platform and we lost our transportation cause of this (reply time was like 24h or didn't answer at all).Check-in was a bit mess, young people from the restaurant showed us way but I don't know who the actual host was. On the positive side we got in early. We didn't know what time was the check-out. And there was no one to ask for. Nor did they introduced if there was a possibility to get a breakfast and for what price.Neighbors were loud (other visitors) but no one did anything to stop it.

Quiet, lying down listening to the sound of the waterfall, very satisfying.
