The views at Thenor are among the most amazing and beautiful of anywhere I’ve seen in my travels around the world. Just stunning and an Instagramer’s dream at sunset. It’s very tranquil except the locals do like to do their own thing nearby by at night - shooting up some fireworks, drink, chat loudly etc. but I liked that as it adds to the experience for me. Service and responsiveness from the host was great via messaging apps. I think it helps if you know some Thai. Keep in mind it’s a bit out of the way up a pretty sketchy road and somewhat isolated. You park and then are driven up in an all wheel drive suv so getting around on your own isn’t easy. You can order food beforehand which I recommend. There’s a small kitchen (but not much in the way of pots pans I can remember) and a full bathroom that’s pretty nice. There’s a mini-split that provides ac and heat. I liked the firm mattress and sheets were clean. I ordered the moo krata (a hybrid grill and hotpot) set and some extra meats. It was perfect for two hungry people. My hobby is photography and it would have been great to turn off all the lights so I could better do astrophotography but that’s a minor quibble. I was able to see the Milky Way and but could shoot it from the angle needed. I was able to get a decent single shot of the Orion Nebula, Mars, Sirius A. It’s more pricey than other glamping sites but you are getting a huge space to yourself and have privacy to shoot photos how you like.

It is a good place to stay in a very good, most impressive place that I have ever visited. The rooms are spacious, fresh and comfortable, luxurious, dogs bark, very clean. What's really cool is that there's only one house, very quiet, very private, on the top of a mountain, soaking in the cold breeze. The view is the most amazing, nothing is amazing at all. The fog floats in both morning and evening. Lovely staff, very good service If you want anything, go down to him and buy it for me. I want everyone to come. There is only one disadvantage found. It's very difficult to flush the toilet. The water is not strong. If you shoot heavily, wait 3 hours before pushing it all down.😂😂 What I would like to recommend is don't come during the rainy season. Because you may encounter a mud slide. Traveling is difficult. Cars can't get in, so you have to walk.😊
