Absolutely enchanting! One of our favorite places...This hidden gem is nestled deep within a lush rainforest, surrounded by vibrant rice terraces and serene mountain rivers. The soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall create a tranquil ambiance that’s truly unmatched. The hosts are incredibly warm and hospitable, serving up the most mouthwatering, authentic Northern Thai cuisine. The charming huts are perfectly rustic yet comfortable, offering a genuine taste of Northern Thailand’s unique charm and authenticity. My recent visit to the Spicy Villa was simply extraordinary. From the very moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel instantly at ease.I love the common area spaces, filled with board games, a pool table, and a spectacular view of the valley. A short walk takes you to a charming waterfall, a true touch of natural magic.The opportunities offered are numerous and fascinating: experiences with elephants, kayaking, and trekking that allow you to connect with nature in unique and unforgettable ways.The included breakfast is plentiful and delicious, while lunch and dinner are exceptional, offering an authentic culinary experience. The rooms provide total privacy and security, a perfect retreat after a day full of adventures.The staff is always available to explain everything about the local culture, adding invaluable value to the stay. And, if you wish, you can even cook with them, an experience that allowed me to learn new recipes and traditions.In short, it is a place where every moment is a pleasure. Heartfelt thanks to everyone for making my visit so special!

Staying at Spicy Villa is a unique experience, you are surrounded by pristine forests, waterfalls, rivers, a small elephant sanctuary, the staff is welcoming and warm, the environment is informal, spartan but super friendly, I felt like I was staying in family home, they organize trekking and bamboo rafting trips. The view of the valley is enchanting and relaxing and I loved my bungalow on wooden stilts. Thank you for everything Spicy Villa!!!

I had the experience of being volunteer in Spicy Villa, the treatment from the staff was incredible, specially Joy and Tawan! I want to say thank you guys for everything. we had an amazing time , the food was awsome, the place with the incredible views, for reading my books or meditate in the mornings, the waterfall, the elephants, the activities, everything was so good for me… I will recommend it always

I loved ! In a small village lost in the mountains, with an incredible view, all made of bamboo. The hosts are very nice and we eat very well! You should obviously not expect to have incredible comfort: no electricity (but that's also part of its charm), mattresses on the floor lined up in the same room (with mosquito nets, very important), everything open obviously . The campfire is great, and you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the animals. Really at the top!

One of my favourite places in Thailand! A beautiful villa overlooking mountains and jungle, with elephants and a waterfall in the valley below. The owner, Spicy Joe, is great, and his team took us on an amazing hike and cooked us authentic northern Thai food.If you’re looking for a trekking experience near Chiang Mai or even just a peaceful getaway, then definitely come here!

Spicy villa is the most authentic, eco-friendly and sustainable experience I had in Thailand during my trip.You will wake up with a terrific view and the sound of the nearby river, feeling One with nature.Jo/Samart is a past monk who realized his dream of studying tourism and through the eco-lodges he provides a job to people from the nearby villages.You can do many tours with them, from a nearby canyon to an ethical elephants' visit.
