The most beautiful experience I had with the elephants was here 🥹, they are very friendly and they set up the spot for you in your cabin, take advantage of the place to disconnect, there is a river nearby, if you are not into nature and moving around without internet, just stay one night will be more than enough, ensure your transportation by contacting the hotel, the grabs can be a problem from Chiang Mai… here they also sell the tours to do more activities with the elephant but it is not worth it, they have the same prices as Chiang Mai

We had a great stay the staff is all friendly and helpful. The rooms have AC and their is wifi (other eleohamt resorts do not offer that) The transfer from the airport to the hotel was smooth. The elwphamt greeting in the morning is amazing the elephants are so close to you! They have a restaurant and the food is good. Thank you!

My wife was keen to see the elephants but only if they were treated well. With some research this resort came up.Finding the resort proved to be a challenge. We had to park down a a small hill and walk up to our accommodation. Sook and his staff were there to take oir bags.Sook is a very friendly and helpful guild. The room is extremely small.Unfortunately we were there during burning season and the air quality was rather poor. The whole night we had dogs jumping around our veranda causing the room to shake. This stay was mot for me. It may be your cup of tea though

Please find somewhere else to stay, that is completely does not worth to spend a night over there. If you want to visit elephants that is cool you can do it without staying there.

The place is honestly pretty cool and the staff is great. Elephants are all awesome but are NOT BEING TREATED 100% ETHICALLY.Here's the problem. It's $60 US per night for SUPER basic accommodations (which I'm not complaining about like some other idiots on here, it's a poor jungle village, duh.) Yet they still after 3 years supposedly don't have enough money to build a barn or fenced area to put them in while they aren't interacting with guests. Although they have TONS of property on which they could. So the elephants spend MANY MANY HOURS PER DAY CHAINED UP BY THEIR ANKLE. These elephants aren't super happy. They sway and bob and only interact in transactional ways due to their trained reward system of feeding. They are mostly rescued elephants, and that's great. It's the direction Thailand is heading in. But at the prices they're charging for this very minimalist resort, by now they really should be able to afford proper enclosures for the elephants to be put in place if they want to compete with Chai Lai up the road. They are extremely self-aware and sentient creatures who DO NOT LIKE BEING CHAINED UP 15 HOURS PER DAY.They try to give the illusion that these elephants are not chained, but look where they have them when they aren't interacting with guests. They aren't just staying right there because it's their favorite spot. They are chained. The people on her claiming they aren't clearly didn't explore the property like we did.
