We stayed for the full moon party on haad rin beach. The hotel is difficult to get to as the drivers do not want to drop you off at the hotel due to the dirt road to get to the hotel. But we learned that you can arrange with the hotel for a pickup as they have a vehicle available. The rooms are on the side of a hill so prepare yourself for the climb up the stairs 😂. The rooms do not come with water bottles or coffee so for the price it is a bit disappointing. The view from the rooms on the upper level is great as you can see quite far. If you want a place close to the beach this hotel is perfectly situated.

The staff are lovely, however we payed 8500 Baht for 2 nights during full moon party. The rooms were like a prison cell - no window and bright orange. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable we woke up with bruises. …

Very nice, well-kept bungalow complex on the hillside. My room, at the top, with a great view over the bay. Everything very clean and well-kept. Bathroom good for Thai standards. Extremely helpful staff. The only downside is that you can easily hear the music from the beach bar until around 2:00 in the evening. But that doesn't usually bother the people who come to Haad Rin. 🤪

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are very basic, but they have a gorgeous view of the beach and two islands. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. It was nice to be so close to the Full Moon Party but not be blasted by the music at the hotel. Road to the hotel is rutted mud - easier to head up via the path at the end of the beach IMO. It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and another 5-10 to the main part of town via the beach. If you enjoy being a bit off-scene among the jungle and monkeys and enjoy "Old Thailand" basic accommodations, this is for you. Thanks again to the friendly staff. I'd totally stay here again.

Great location with an amazing view. Close to the beach, but far enough away you can sleep without the club noise keeping you up. Really lovely especially for the price. There was even a fridge! We would stay again.On a side note, be prepared to walk up some stairs to your bungalow, that view costs a little bit of exercise. Also the road to this place looks awful. I wouldn’t drive here but instead get dropped off in town, walk down the beach and walk in past the last restaurant/ bungalow area on the left.

Beautiful view from the room. No air con - a fan. The hotel is on a hill and close to the beach. A lot of monkeys, don't leave food out. Laundry service available, weed and drinks for sale - but expensive. Nice owners. A 20 min hike to a view point near by.

Absolutely horrible experience, we’ve been in our room resting for only 2 hours 10am-12am and the lady is kicking us out, lying to us and wants to put more money in her own pocket. Dont visit here ever

Accommodation suitable for staying overnight, especially if you are here for the Full Moon Party. The path is like the pictures already posted. But feasible could be better. The bathroom is organized to save space, unfortunately the shower has hardly any water pressure. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Mega hotel location 2 minutes to the beach (full moon party) and the view over the whole island. We saw the sunrise and also the sunset from our hut. Would recommend this hotel at any time, the owner is a very nice and helpful woman. The hotel has been beautiful and has been owned by the family for 20 years

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was horrific. The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood. The shower was filthy, the room was infested with bugs and it stayed filthy for 3 days as no one even swept the hall way or checked the toilet. Disgusting and rediculous price for what you get. WiFi also didn’t work. I would strongly advise anyone against staying here

Okay- so... I have very mixed feelings about this place and I don't usually rate this low- but there is important information I think people should know before booking.""""The Road To The Hotel Is Horrible"""Why does this matter? Well it is a dirt road that is windy and up and down hills. If you drive a scooter please please please be careful. We have lived in Asia driving scooters for over 5 years and completely biffed and I got really hurt here. I could barely walk for a week after.So... basically don't drive a scooter. Also it's really a hard hotel to find- you either have to enter from the beach and into a different resort and then walk up (which took us like 2 days to find that entrance - or you have to take the god-forsaken road .... which also doesn't look like a road... so... it's a good place for the full moon party and it is really pretty up there. Also the restaurant is fine. Oh- we also couldn't find the person to check out with and so ended up leaving our key with a dude working there but didn't get our 500 baht key deposit back.Basically really mixed feelings on this place.... I would stay again for the full moon party (though I don't think I'll go back to the party again- once is enough for me)But there is no information out there about the road which is actually a pretty big deal. So.... book it... just be warned.The attached pic is just a part of the road... I don't have a pic of the other parts which are much worse.
