Good value for money !Pad thai omelet ✌️

I stayed here for 3 weeks. I stayed in the last hut onto the beach. The location is amazing There are four or five resorts right down the beach. The restaurant is a solid average just slightly above average the egg rolls are great, and the coconuts are cold. It serves as a really good restaurant if you've had a long day and you don't want to walk anywhere to get food. The facilities are okay. It's a little pricey for what you get. The aircon was cold, there's a cheeky little snake that lives in the garden and if you're lucky you got a peek of him. There is a ton of little millipedes that come out there's some great street dogs that call this place home which I really enjoyed. And the semi-permanent residents that take up at this place more than makeup for the somewhat lukewarm hospitality of the owner. So I really didn't have any issues at all for my entire stay. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned which I think is unusual instead of just having service done every 3 days or every day. There's not enough garbage cans for the room... I had a bathroom a living room and a bedroom and one tiny trash can that was placed in the bathroom that I was supposed to use for all of my bathroom tissue that was next to the toilet. That means that any other garbage in that room also had to be put in that tiny little trash can. You had to provide your own soap as none was provided the toilet paper roll holder was cracked and it's a big industrial one and so that came down on us almost every time we used the toilet. The hammock was great and I spent almost every afternoon swinging in it looking out at the beach. The bed was a little on the hard side but I appreciated when I asked for service that it was made new and the sheets were changed every time. My main issue came when I went to pack and I noticed that two of my things were missing. One was a bag of markers that was pretty specific and pretty expensive as they were artist markers that I traveled with because I had a very long flight and I use coloring as a way to calm my anxiety. I had two bags of markers with me and one of them was gone. That seems oddly specific for someone to break into my room and take. The second thing that was missing is a shower head that I travel with because I need water pressure and heat on joints for my arthritis. When we got to the room I never installed it because there was a handheld already in the room and I didn't need to. However it's sat in the bathroom on the shower ledge itself the entire time I was there, until the last week. When I asked about both of these things on the last day and I was packing up the owner came down and told me that my daughter must have taken them and lost them because she had no need for them. There was no effort on her end to help me track them down There was no apology nothing she got real nasty. After that we couldn't get out fast enough for her.

The rooms are nice and provide what is needed. The owners are lovely and offered to take my friend to the hospital who was feeling unwell without any compensation. Recommends

Place is pretty nice, on the beach, cheap and nice rooms.Stayed there for more then two weeks and enjoyed it as long as I didn’t meet the owner, cheap woman, every time I asked for something I got the feeling that im not welcomed. When asked for one lemon I was yelled to go outside buy my own lemon. And the food there is bad (but one minute away there is good restaurant called 2sis)They felt greedy.

Owner decided he didnt like me as a guest and kept my money and didnt give me a room (booking was for 10 days via a third person).I got shouted at for over an hour while trying to figure out how to get my money back, and eventually figured its pointless.Son of the owner even wanted to assault me physically. Dishonest and aggressive people, stay away!

The restaurant by the road is great! Good prices and fast.

Don't know anything about rooms, but food is one of the best! 🙏
