I booked on Agoda where the price was specified, but upon arrival they asked for +2400 baht in addition to room rent claiming it was for vat + city tax. When I showed them that’s already accounted for on agoda, they switched to say it is “tourist tax”. This does not actually exist. I’m not sure how uneducated they were to believe anyone would buy this. Other guests probably paid for the scam because they had no other choice because the booking is non-refundable. Be careful of the German and Thai couple that runs this place. You’re better off staying with people that will not try to scam you at every turn. Also the toilet has a huge window that doesn’t have doors so get ready for mosquito showers!

Please allow me to say that when a man writes a bad review, don't believe him. The owner of the shop has never harmed his wife and this man has never stayed in a hotel here. He wrote the review because this man is mentally ill and has the brains of a retard. He wrote bad reviews for many restaurants and everyone on Koh Phangan knew he was lying.And he went to stay in another hotel and urinated next to the bed and didn't go into the room. Everyone please believe what I say🙏🙏🙏The owner of the store is a nice person and has many dear friends here.

Decent accommodation with a lovely shared outside area overlooking the water. The main road outside is busy but the garden area is a nice escape. The owner is friendly and reasonable. I was only there for a night to do the full moon party with a friend. It is about a 10 minute drive from the pier.

Great hosts, cool atmosphere with a holiday feeling, very good food in the restaurant, always hospitable and are there to help and advise if you need anything, just a great resort and great people, highly recommended 🙏🏼

Found out on the boat to Koh Tao that I forgot my phone in the room. The owner sent it to me with the boat and made sure I got it within a few hours. Amazing. The location is perfect. A lot of places to eat, good massage salon in the street, bike rental across the street. Was an really nice stay.

Waikiki beach garden resort is a nice place with good food and friendly owner and staff, but 1 night ,Russian people high on drugs and alcohol are sitting in the garden and disturbing other costumer, they come in the night time and make noise till the owner kick them out, I hope the police will do something regents people like this, they have no respect for our culture

Terrible nights sleep due to loud noise in surrounding rooms. The owner smelt like a bottle of chang when I arrived & was glowing red (indicating he was drinking). Please don’t go here if you want a welcome & happy stay.

I really hate to leave reviews like this but it should be a warning to anyone that decides to stay here.From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with mistrust and unkindness by this german man that is hired to handle the guests. He informed me that I wouldn’t be able to pay with card and that he will not let me in my room unless I cashed up front for it, including a 1000 baht deposit which I never received back. He kept complaining to me about his previous guests, and even pointed out another guest and called him crazy. Not a good start, I should’ve listened to my instincts and leave right away. My request to check out early morning was completely ignored. My messages and calls left unanswered. No taxi, no help. When I contacted him regarding the deposit, he could not give me a straight answer. He suggested I fly back to the island and get it myself. He then told me because I checked out earlier, he will take all the deposit.This man is super sketchy, unprofessional and cold hearted, and the owner of this place needs to know what kind of person she hired before he completely ruins her reputation. I left with sour feelings and completely regretting for putting my trust in him and this place.

Worst place I’ve stayed in Thailand. There were dead spiders in the curtains and on the floor when we arrived and room was genuinely horrible. The owner has no respect for his guests and the price was extortionate considering the quality of the room and service. Avoid at all costs.

I had a great stay at the Waikiki Beach Resort.Peter and his staff were very welcoming from day one and was always willing to help no matter what it was. Even helping me out with government paperwork or any type of trip advices.Food was great, especially the weekend barbecue with all kind of German goodies did it for me 😋.I will definitely come back .
