The place is quiet, amazing, and beautiful, but full of insects because it is in the middle of nature and peacocks, and it is considered far from the city centerFood is difficult to deliver if we order it from outside, and the resort restaurant lasts orders at 8 pm, which is annoyingThe hotel staff are very kind and have very nice hospitality and are friendly as if they were your family

Magical place!! a real secret place in the heart of nature!! pure happiness!! the setting is a feast for the eyes, the hosts are extremely welcoming and the restaurant is truly delicious!! I totally recommend!!

The check-in experience was very good, the environment was also very good, and the service was pretty good except for the nightmare on the last day. Let me tell you about the final check-out situation. I booked a chartered car service with the hotel front desk one day in advance and confirmed three sightseeing goals. The conversation was quite pleasant. On the day of using the car, the boss arranged the car but was unwilling to follow the agreed price and location. He said that 1500 baht for a 37-kilometer road was not enough, and he insisted that we go to a scenic spot that we didn't want to go to, so we ended up changing cars. Problem solved. The problem was that we didn't ask for a van, only a car and the itinerary we wanted, which wasted an hour and a half of our time and ruined our mood. Why not arrange the things that have been agreed upon in advance, and why should the fees be increased? There is no compensation to the guest.

Highly recommended hotel.It's very nice and quiet place. Good for spending your privacy time for reading, relaxing with your beloved one. The food is gorgeous. Staffs are super friendly as well.I like a small pool and jacuzzi. I didn't try the spa retreat. Keep it for next time.

Although it is a bit far away, the cool waterfall in the valley goes well with the resort, creating a beautiful scenery. Photos of Angelina Jolie's visit are also displayed at the counter.

An oasis out in the middle of nowhere.Had booked a spa, jacuzzi appartment, but on arrival we were told that the AC where we were supposed to be was broken. We were therefore upgraded to the villa.A super delicious place where we really relaxed!

What a scam!The facility looks hasn’t been updated since the 60s or 70s. It’s hard to lock and unlock doors with your room key. There were holes in the floors and damage to the structures.I got the most expensive unit, advertised for the view. The “view” was completely covered by overgrowth.It’s clear the owner does not care. The staff was very friendly, but when I got to know them better, I heard them complain about the ownership and their extremely low pay ($9 USD for a 10hr workday). They can pay lower than salaries in the city, because it is one of the few hiring options for the local people living in the jungle. Apparently, this place was owned by a couple, and after the husband died, the wife has not been very kind to the staff.I got a massage in their spa, and it was the worst massage of my life. She kept pulling my hair as part of the scalp massage, even when I asked her to stop. It was the most expensive and worst massage in all of Thailand.The only redeeming feature was that staff was kind and courteous.FULL STOP 🛑 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE

An absolutely unique place on the banks of a waterfall. Teak houses, a collection of antiques, peacocks and ducks strolling on your terrace, you find yourself in a rainforest fairy tale.

Really loved this place. Very tranquil and beautiful and we had a cottage by the waterfall. It much of a waterfall when we went, but still very beautiful. We loved the ducks and the peacocks. Food and service was excellent and we can even recommend the spa for a great massage. Highly recommended.

This place is paradise. The staff was incredibly nice and went out of their was to welcome us as newlyweds. The rooms are wonderful and the views are out of this world. We canceled an excursion to just relax and enjoy ourselves in this wonderful place. We had massages here and they were wonderful. It is a located a ways out of town but we found that tours would pick you up and drop you off nearby.

Extraordinary in every way. Staff was outstanding. Setting is magnificent. Room was elegant and clean. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back. If you don't have transportation, there's not much to walk to other than a lovely waterfall about 1 km away but we certainly didn't mind for a 2 night stay. Loved it. What a gem

We absolutely loved our stay. We spent 2 nights at Sukantara after a week in Chiang Mai and it was the perfect place to decompress.We have stayed in many incredible accommodations over the years and I have to say the environment/scenery at Sukantara is up at the top for us. So incredibly beautiful.The staff was very sweet and helpful.The food was quite good too (we had gotten ill in Chiang Mai so we’re very skeptical… the food at Sukantara was well prepared and safe).The rooms were a bit dated but it did not detract from our stay.We were in the pool villa suite and I found the master bed to be pretty comfortable.Spa experience was good.Definitely make the trip for a couple nights!

Only stayed one night and what s shame. The property is mesmerizing and gorgeous and peaceful and relaxing all the good things you can think of. Rooms are furnished well and we stayed in number 9 at the river with a Jacuzzi. We loved it all and dinner was delish. Looking forward to breakfast by the waterfall in the morning. Highly recommend!
