Behind the house there is a small garden that is beautiful, clean and able to welcome the morning sunrise. While the sunset can be seen in the same area. Feel relaxed like being at your own home.

Location convince walking distance to sleeping Buddha , behind beach can have gathering under tree event hot weather . Can have bbq or steamboat here. Just buy ingredients from outside walking distance market . Couple owner friendly, have chat with us whole afternoon. Not 5 star hotel but 5 star services . Bed mattress , no mosquito and friendly owner who stay nearby

Our group of 10 pax from Malaysia spent 6 days 5 nights in this lovely lake house on Ko Yo island.What a find, not only the property is clean, spacious, has a grand view of Songkla lake, our hosts Khun Jom, and his parents Khun Jula and Khun Somsak were amongst the kindest and most generous host we ever encountered in our traveling chapters. Truly thankful for their warm hospitality they took care of our group as if we were family.Got up every morning 5.45am to catch 6am sunrise on the jetty over a hot cuppa of freshly brewed coffee. Such a luxury to able enjoy sunrise right behind your own private backyard. Miss this hour the most now that we are back in the city.In fact, this property reminds some of us of grandma's house back when we were young. Large property with garden space where you can set up camping chairs and hammock to chill, some of us fish, some stayed indoor, whilst some get busy in the kitchen. Chilling in the garden and jetty is our top favourite by far.There are ample of (too many options) cafes and restaurants on Ko Yo island itself that i feel one do not even need to bother driving to Songkla or Hatyai city. It is so much more peaceful and relaxing to stay on the island itself than exploring the city area. Ko Yo island has ample of beautiful modern cafes and good eateries.The highlight of this trip has got to be the one paddling half way around Ko Yo island to Sin Yor Rista café. I bet it was quite a rare sight for the café patrons when our group arrived by SUP board out of no where and hop up the jetty and get seated for meal.Missing this lake house already...Looking forward to next return visit real soon fingers crossed.
