..the restaurant is located a bit away from the town center on the edge. the atmosphere is good, the food too. However, the food is very much adapted to European tastes and the prices are a little higher than usual. Opposite is a small, less attractive restaurant (Isan), which offers authentic Thai food at reasonable prices.

Restaurant is a bit out of the way, you have to walk along a busy street to get there. Food and service was ok. Definitely worth a visit

Excellent food, the place justifies the slightly higher prices. It's real Thai cuisine in a place for tourists so the quality/price ratio is good.The service is lovely 🙏The addition of fruit slices at the end of the meal is appreciated 😃

The restaurant is located outside of town directly on the expressway. It's not quiet at all. The furnishings are quite spartan but comfortable. The service was friendly but quite inattentive. Thai specialties on the menu. However, the restaurant is not suitable for vegetarians. Quality of the food good. The taste is also okay. Prices reasonable

After reading great reviews we went here. Not only is it not convenient to walk (we walked across the beach). It's not even tasty at all!! Yes, a very nice waitress, they complimented me, chips first, fruit at the end, but! The food itself is not tasty! Tom Yum is not tasty, I try it everywhere, there’s just nothing here, I didn’t finish eating it, the fruit shakes are not tasty, well, nothing at all, I took mango (not sweet) and pineapple (tasteless)! The only thing is that my husband took rice in a pineapple, it seemed okay, and tumpura shrimp, it would be a sin to spoil them! Prices are more expensive than other cafes, road noise! And the main thing is that it’s just not tasty! Go to other places!

Very tasty food in a friendly, familiar environment, at very fair prices and really nice owners. The menu offers a good selection, including vegetarian dishes, freshly prepared, including attentive and warm service (there were sometimes communication hurdles in English, but everything was resolved easily and the owners were always friendly).Since the restaurant is not located directly in the "Gastro Mile", some people probably miss out on the pleasure of eating there. We only came across it by chance and because of the very positive reviews. But the walk is really short (about 6 minutes from the Hotel Emerald) and is definitely worth it.We had two starters, two main courses, three drinks and a dessert and paid around 850 baht for everything - and that in a nice atmosphere with pleasant, harmonious lounge music. Tortilla chips are always a greeting from the kitchen to welcome a plate of various fruits after the meal.We have now eaten at 10 restaurants here in Khao Lak and would put Tip Top - according to the name :-) - at number 1, absolute recommendation. We've been there twice and will definitely be back!
