We were escaping from busy Phuket for 4 nights digital detox and crazy traffic.We found this place on Google Reviews, plus we never been to Koh PraThong before.After we reached here, this is our one of favorite spot on earth. Peace, nature, calm, good food, good people and good coffee (last two night, I stayed another hotel but I came back here for coffee 😄). Also, don’t miss kayaking in the mangrove forest. It was the best activity here.I found HER is the great place for running away from busy world and only first night is already clear your head from your job.Thank you Lory and her team. We were very enjoyed it.

A very justified 4.9 score for this resort, which is run by Lory (an Italian Swiss lady ) who speaks fluently 5 languages (including Thai). For people like myself who have been coming to SouthEast Asia and Thailand ,in particular ,for 25 years, there are very few places left which combine in a perfect blend the flair and beauty of the Old Thailand and the pragmatic realities of the New Thailand. Liaising with Lory makes access to the resort smooth and effortless. She will attend all your needs and your stay will remain memorable. The food is also excellent . Sleeping in her bungalows was the best sleep I had for years .Not surprisngly ,not only she gets a very fair 4.9 but a large number of her guests are "repeaters". I stop here. The rest is for you to discover

This resort was the second stop of 18 destinations on our 10 week trip. We were totally impressed right from the start and immediately felt at home. Very family run with extremely loving people who are very concerned about the well-being of their guests.Getting to the resort was a little adventure in itself. We got to the island by longtail boat and were taken to the resort in the back of a pickup truck. Since it was just the beginning of the high season, there weren't very many guests present. The long beach was almost always deserted and we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the good food.With the free kayaks you can easily get to the small islands nearby. The beach is perfect for children and also suitable for little ones to swim. In the evening the children were busy collecting hermit crabs; there were always the biggest ones to be found in the kitchen. The massage was inexpensive and even our son enjoyed it several times. In the back of the pickup truck we were able to enjoy a trip through the beautiful savannah in the interior of the island.Our family bungalow was simple but very spacious and comfortable. Mosquito nets over all beds and a large bathroom. The terrace was equipped with comfortable seating and there was a pot of water in front of the bungalow to clean your feet. There are no shops on the island and electricity is only available from dusk until early morning, which we really liked. So saying goodbye was very difficult for us and we can say that this was our favorite place of the entire trip.

We went to the restaurant several times with our children.Extremely nice team, from the boss to the son, the service and kitchen employees. Great, delicious food. Atmosphere authentic, warm.Take away - sandwich was fresh, laundry possible at a good price, payment with the Wise app possible, WiFi.Tip top!

Rooms are basic but super cute and well taken care off. A lot of love was put into this place. It is very idyllic.The island is nice and quiet. Not touristy at all. Food is great and staff are super friendly.We came here 'by coincidence' but we're very happy to, because it is a little gem

We were amazed by Lory’s warm welcome and the extraordinary location of her Resort.Calm, relaxing and comfortable, this establishment is a gem in a small cove of the Andaman Sea.The journey takes place aboard a “Long Tail” and takes us back to the atmosphere of Thailand 30 years ago.The stay was great as was the kitchen too 😀😎😊

We spent some wonderful days at the Horizon Eco Resort on Koh Phra Tong.As a young and active couple, we had great opportunities to discover the nature of Thailand with snorkeling, kayaking through the mangrove forests and running on kilometers of sandy beaches.Lory and her family and her team thrilled us with beautiful accommodation close to nature, great food and exciting insights into the country and its people.The organization was very good, the communication was quick and friendly.We can only warmly recommend the resort to anyone visiting Thailand

Fantastic resort. Very hospitable and sweet staff and helpful and friendly hostess Lori. You feel like you're on a desert island. Beautiful beaches, wonderful snorkeling with coral and canoeing through the bay and in the mangrove. Highly recommended!

SUDDEN PARADISEDiscovering that an intact and genuine Thailand still exists was a wonderful surprise. In this corner of paradise there is a small resort managed like a jewel by Lori, her family and the superlative staff. We immediately felt welcomed like family, and the feeling is that all customers stay here because the atmosphere is truly special. You can do various excursions during the day, and it's nice to then return "home", there is always a warm smile, a chat and delicious food to welcome you. In the end we stayed for 8 days, with the desire to go back and meet new friends. Special thanks to Lori, a special woman with a big heart and an irreplaceable presence at the resort, capable of organizing and solving any problem, incidentally we had forgotten our cell phone in the room upon departure, she had it delivered to the mainland in a flash, incredible .Thanks Lori, you are/are amazing

Great food, very lovely staff and an attentive owner. We dined here twice whilst staying in a neighbouring hotel. Food was excellent, busy buzzy atmosphere and delicious Mojitos, they deserve to be full which they were on both occasions! Would definitely come back and recommend

Went to the beach restaurant on Koh Phra Thong. This island is very rare. There aren't many tourists yet. The beach is still pristine. Electricity hasn't arrived yet, so use solar cells for lighting. Telephone signal still does not cover the entire island. I didn't come to stay here. Reviews only about restaurants and the beach in front of the store. The beach is very wide, the water is clear, the atmosphere is wonderful, quiet, lay back and breathe in the fresh air. This shop is owned by an Italian woman and her Thai husband. The lady running the shop is in the kitchen taking care of the food. We ordered Thai food. It's very delicious. Fresh as seafood on the island
