Very beautiful view, very beautiful decoration BUT deplorable services, luggage arrived broken (4 days of discussion and negotiation to obtain 20€ compensation), dirty swimming pool, low-end and expensive food, rooms far from the swimming pool and accessible restaurants only with car (ecologically really not great), massage prices excessive compared to the rest of Thailand, I do not recommend this hotel

Santhiya Resort is located at an Island Koh Yao Yao which is 30 minutes catamaran ride from Ao Po Grand Pier in east coast of Phuket.If you are in Patong, Phuket(Bangla road area) , you have to take a cab to go to Ao Po Grand Marina pier.Now, this is an incredibly beautiful resort located on a picturesque hill side of the island Koh Yao Yai. We opted for and highly recommend the Supreme Deluxe Sea facing room which has a huge balcony with a sofa bed and a huge bath tub. The view of an isolated island from the balcony is breathtaking.The resort has a spa and the deep tissue Oil massage is highly recommended. Food is amazing here and fried shrimp is recommended.This place is kid friendly and is perfect for a sublime family vacation away from the madding crowd.

The worst experience ever. From check-in and during the stay until check out, the hotel keeps making mistakes. It’s STRONGLY NOT recommended for expecting a good vacation. There are many other resort options.First of all, the service they were providing are not even close to professional or proactive, when we ask for service they are showing quite confused look.1. I made an appointment for a morning yoga class in advance, but when I arrived at class, I found out that my name wasn't on the list, and was fully booked. I got up at 06:00 in the morning to get ready to join this yoga class, such waste time.2. DONT try seaside massage. The massage master has no problem with her skills. But the bar next to massage area suddenly starts playing super loud electronic music. Is it reasonable to play such loud music during the massage? The resident who was also having massage next to me was making video calls loudly, but no one stopped her. It's not relaxing at all!3. The shuttle car inside the resort is staggering and uncomfortable, and the shuttle is dangerous and difficult to ride. Basically, you have to call the front desk to get a car wherever you go. This time staying in the room at hotel area No . 2, to the infinity pool is walkable! After leaving the pool, would like to ask the staff to call a shuttle to the service center for dinner. After I got back to the room to rest. The front desk (specially) called me and told me that the distance between the swimming pool and hotel2 is very close, please don't call a car if I walk. I replied to the person in charge of dispatching the car. Of course I know that this is a walking distance. I called the car from the swimming pool to the service center. Did you make a mistake? She just started apologizing to me. What the guest wants is not an apology, but the hotel called me at such a late hour to tell me about this matter? Not only very intrusive but also very rude, which is not the case in normal resort.4. This is outrageous. When I checked out, I handed over my suitcase to the counter staff and told him to put my suitcase together and wait until boarding the boat. I was also reminded twice that I was taking the speedboat at 12:00 . , Please pay attention to my luggage, because it will take an hour to go back and forth, and there must be no mistakes, and there will be a flight right behind.Sure enough, I arrived at the phuket pier and was about to board the shuttle bus to the airport. I checked my luggage again, but they lost it. I asked the staff at the pier to confirm. The resort told me that my luggage was still on the island after I called the front desk. This trip was a very bad experience from the beginning to the end. I like the Muay Thai class very much. Thank you to the Muay Thai coach.5. On the day I was about to check out, I began to feel unwell in the morning and had mild diarrhea. This situation became more and more serious until I arrived at the airport and returned to Bangkok. During the process, I only ate food provided by the resort I think I have eaten food that is not clean or fresh.If you want to have a good vacation, Please choose another resort.The worst experience. From check-in to departure, the hotel kept making mistakes. It is highly not recommended. If you want to really have a good vacation, there are many other options.First of all, in terms of service, he is not professional or proactive, and he is quite unorganized when asking questions.1. The front desk dispatched someone The taxi attendant called me (specifically) and told me that the swimming pool was very close to hotel 2 and that I should walk instead of calling a taxi.I replied to the person responsible for dispatching the car. Of course I knew it was a walking distance. I called the car from the swimming pool to the service center. Did you make a mistake? She just started to apologize to me. What the guest wanted was not an apology, but the hotel calling me about this matter at such a late hour about a train? Not only is it very intrusive but also very rude. A normal hotel would not have this situation.4. This is outrageous. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay at Santhiya.From our initial arrival at checkin things didn’t seem right. We were told we had no booking even though we could clearly prove that with booking ID’s, Apps emails etc but it seems there was some kind of internal error where Santhiya booking staff had added our booking in a month later. That was all very confusing, we were told to come back at 3pm before we could get to our room.Rooms at Santhiya are made out of timber, looks like a great fun unique concept, but after staying a few days we noticed the musty wet damp smell coming from our room, we both starting getting quite ill and we also noticed our neighbours coughing and sneezing too. Then at breakfast we noticed this was a bit of a ‘trend’The views at Santhiya are amazing, this was one of the only real highlights for this stay. But the room we were given didn’t have the ‘As advertised’ views we were expecting. Our room was on the lower level so trees we completely blocking the deluxe sea view room we booked.Even our checkout was some sort of ‘hassle’. Took close to 45 minutes to get out. Santhiya staff need to drive you out of the hotel to the pickup bay just outside the gate. We sat around waiting for so long before we were ‘allowed’ to leave.Definitely won’t be returning here or recommending Santhiya, it is in no way what we were expecting by the overall online presentation of Santhiya, reviews included…

The sea is very beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. The suggestion is that they should improve. The school does not have a bathroom to use. Have customers pay money to purchase services from the condominium. It is recommended that the school be responsible for this part. By providing coupons for Customers who will use the bathroom and responsible for paying with the condominium It will create an even greater impression. Another point is that the sign telling you to make a room by turning the wings should have words such as make my room and don't disturb because the customer doesn't know the direction of turning the wings, so if they don't turn the wings, the housekeeper won't come to do it. Customers must call to inform them that it is because customers do not turn their wings. As for the location and breakfast, it's awesome and truly lives up to Santhiya's name. The last thing to recommend is to take the boat there and back a total of 6 times, only once being the boat captain. Parked at Koh Sop for customers to take photos without customers requesting it. I'm very impressed. If the weather is good, I'd like the boat to go to the island to stop and take photos at Sop Island.
