This is a huge area with lots of old western architecture. I'd recommend catching a cab through the area and stopping if you see something interesting. Or rent a bike!

It is not a hotel. The neighborhood has nothing interesting if you come from Europe. Better to go directly to Tianzifang.

Lovely little place with French architecture buildings. Very interesting cafes and bars and restaurants with quite lot of shops selling perfumes clothes etc. A great place to unwind. The place has a relaxing chill vibe to it. Loved it.

A lot of restaurants were serving fine dining but the price tag looked very high. Street at the middle was traffic free. Houses looked classical. It was part of Shanghai ruled by French government & in 1943 it was handed over to Chinese government. It was still elite residential & retail area. The area of concession still was a good tourist destination of Shanghai.
