The worst hotel experience ever! Stayed at PJ watergate hotel while I went on vacation to Bangkok with my family. We booked 2 rooms and they charge us extra 1,000 bhat everyday saying we stain their towels which isn’t true. So unprofessional and unethical. I don’t recommend this hotel at all!

20th to 26th stay in this fabulous hotel. Convienently located in Pratunam. Easy access to shopping malls and mid range buy markets.From MBK airport easiest and cheapest is by Bus ( Route A3 - THB 50 per person). Taxi from hotel to airport 500 THB.Super helpfull staff and very clean rooms. Service par excellence. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good deal in Pratunam - Bangkok. Thailand.See you again.......22 - 31st August 2024Once again in the hotel. Mrs. Meow helped us again to book it. Wonderful experience..Await our next visit end of this year hopefully..

Welcome us warmly and gave us a welcome drink. Rooms are clean and tidy washroom also clean. Duriyan is not allowed in rooms. Breakfast buffet is good and had many varieties.

Very bad hotel. Even can’t say it’s a hotelFirstly gave a room which you can’t even to stay,stinks like anything. Some sort of toilet smell, so we asked them to change the room and received an another similar to previous.There was no towels given for my childrens room and numerous requests for the same failed. Then I had to give one towel from our room to my children’s room.At the time of checking out had to pay 500bth as they clamed that there is a stain on one of our towels.Do not ever stay in this hotel, very uncomfortable, unclean, very unpleasant staff. Specially the duty manager woman who handles the situation at the time of checking out on 27 Jul 2024 at 1300hrs.Please do not ruin your travel by staying in this poor hotel.Finally the incharge of our travel mr Aruna from fly friends please do not choose this place ever again for any group you take to thailand.Thanks

Unfortunately, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. I booked 4 nights, but the room stank of mould/mildew and toilets, and within an hour I was dizzy and having trouble breathing. Running the aircon and air purifier did not fix this.After some negotiations at reception, they refunded me 3 nights out of 4. I was not happy about paying for a room after 1 hour, as I hadn't touched anything or used the bed, but this was the quickest resolution to avoid having to do a credit card chargeback.The whole building is extremely old, dated, smelly and musty and needs to be completely demolished to start over. In most other countries it would not be allowed to house people due to health risks.The staff are fine, the service is great, the location is very central.

This is one of the best hotel i stayed in Bangkok. location was awesome. its so close to couple of shopping malls and night markets.Indra square, palledium plaza, platinum plaza, biyoke galleryStaff was so friendly. they helped us with everything.Breakfast is very tasty and there were so many choices.

Do not go to this hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Think twice before going and read all the reviews of the customers.1. They provide 2 water bottles to the room daily. On the second day we did not received the water bottles. When we ask from the reception regarding the water bottles they asked 30 Bath per bottle. We said that we did not received it but they kept on asking money and did not give it either even its their mistake.2. We lost two sunglasses. We went for shopping. We are very sure that it was on the table. We locked our bags before leaving the hotel but sunglasses were on the table and got missing. We thought that the staff are genuine but never trust the room service of this hotel.3. On the last day, it was our third day in the hotel. We packed everything and kept our luggages in the hotel lobby. Because checkout was at 12.00 pm and we had our flight at 5.00 pm. So we kept our belongings at about 10 am and went for shopping. Two girls and myself left early, two aunts left the hotel at 12.00 pm. Reception has asked aunts to pay 500 Baht for the towel saying that it has a pink stain. She informed us immediately after the complaint. After we came to the hotel we asked why they ask money for the towel since its very normal. They said they need money because it has pink stain and it was hair colour. Then we said why are you complaining at the last moment because we used 3 towels for 3 days. Why asking money only for this. They said they put it in the laundry and it didn’t go. They said if they find the other 2 towels also we need to pay 1500 baht for towels. My sister had to prove that it was her hair colour. So receptionist came to the washroom and asked to wash the hair. And even without washing powder the stain removed after washing the towel. I realized that they have not washed the towel and trying to lie to get money. So we asked for washing powder. And i washed one part of the towel. The stain went. Then we showed the receptionist the towel. They asked us to wash the towel fully. If not to pay. Then we argued. Without putting the towel in the laundry they ask money from the customer at the last moment. So that they get panic and pay for it. We even got late. They closed their gate barriers and did not let us leave the hotel. They asked us to wash it fully. At first they said they washed it how come it gets removed when we washed. Terrible staff. They tried to take money from the customers so that they can share among them later. We actually have evidence of the scenario.Do not go to this hotel. We are not the only people who faced for unpleasant situations. 5 Sri lankan guys left the hotel by saying they got fedup with the staff. And also another Sri Lankan uncle said that they are asking unreasonable amount of money for extending two days. So he even checked out from the hotel.

Me and my wife arrived here from Canada, and stayed here, we arrived early, they didn't charge us anything for early check in, so cozy place, quite day and night, the breakfast is so good. And the staff are respectful, helping.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Requested for ONE extra towel for our baby. That’s the ONLY request we asked from front desk and the answer is NO. So we will not continue and cancelled the remaining booking of our trip. DO NOT EXPECT THAILAND HOSPITALITY FROM THEM. I have stayed at a similar hotel price range but they are THE WORST.
