Lovely stay at Banana lodge !Tenant and staff are doing their best to answer any requests. Very friendly, trustworthy and accommodating people.Very clean, possibility to have the laundry done on sight (washed and ironed 50B/kg!)The sea front is about 25min walk.It's a good idea to rent a bike (end of the path across the main road) to explore this lovely part of Thailand.

Stay away from this scammers place.We checked on booking, 1 room free. Instead of booking directly, we thought we'd drive there and check the place first. When we arrived, the owner said, there's no more free room. Apparently he can't close it on booking. Which is wrong, otherwise he could never offer the same rooms on multiple platforms.So just imagine we'd booked and than there'd be no free room for us. Like it happened to some ppl writing in the comments here.Very dubious businessmen.

We had three separate bookings due to diving in between and every time we came tired to the accomodation and they told us any excuse that we can not check in, in our paid room. Many hours wasted talking to Oyo and the manager at ground getting our money back. Extremly bad management. Don't expect an answer within two days. One time they even had a room available, but wanted to have a double payment to let us check in, even if they were aware of there mistake the night before.

Came in to stay and the TV couldn't turn on. I walked to look for the caretaker but didn't see anyone. Found 1 orange cat. Bored.

Terrible experience,after I make a reservation 20 day before my check in I also call the owner for make sure my booking is confirmed and he confirmed me all When I arrival at reception the staff tell me that hotel is fully booked so I ask to talk whit the owner but he just said that no have room for me!This is absolutely unacceptable after I get confirmation also by voice for he 20 day before,I will high raccomend to everyone to stay far away from this place,they simple rovined my stay in Khao lak!

Bed comfy, clean towels, clean room with Aircon.Quite a walk from most things and they don't offer bicycle and their motobike is expensive(3x the AVG)Owner tried to walk into the room at 8am, lucky it was locked so then he just nocked and asked us to open so he could fix the TV. We told him no later.The windows and walls are thin so you hear everything nextdoor and outside which was not good when other guest party till 2am and also cars in and out all hours.

Small road hotel. The rooms are large enough and have a refrigerator. The establishment is not very large but has the advantage of not being located directly on the main road, which makes the place quite quiet. We are therefore a little far from all amenities even if there are two or three restaurants nearby.

Greedy, cheating owner.He stole my reservation money, saying he didn't receive payment, but I had reservation number, confirmation and everything;he was supposed to give me money back and in the end with an excuse he only gave me half of it back.I asked him to keep something for me in the fridge, first he says yes and then when I go to get it back he tells me it has disappeared and he doesn't know where it is.Very poor room cleaning service.I will definitely never come back.

Decent value for money. Clean room, strong smell of household products... the bed is very hard. but for 11 euros per night, you have air conditioning and a fridge. The environment is calm.

On the day I went to reserve through the app, the money was already deducted, but when I got to the accommodation I called the owner and said that the uncle had already sold the room and it was full but the system couldn't be turned off. Very confused, it still shows that there are vacant rooms on every app, but at the event it says the rooms are full.

The rooms are comfortable, quiet, suitable for people who want to relax. In the morning there is coffee to drink as well. The owner provides good service and is friendly to talk to. When I went to stay, the TV didn't work and the resort was about to fix it.
