What a great value Palm Garden Khao Lak is!Nicely appointed room, great property and nice pool!Quiet location off the main drag.As well Sea Bees Diving located at the resort, a divers perfect spot to go to the Similans and area.A definite recommendation for a nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay here, Bobby, Suga (sp?) and the rest of the team were always smiling and happy to help with whatever we needed. They even helped me surprise my partner on his birthday after being out at a dive all day. We're travelling for a long time so it really made the day and stay even more special and we felt so special and grateful for all they did. I can't thank them enough for giving us the best memories here. The resort is so quiet and peaceful, plenty of shade and fans to hide from the heat, or soak up the sun if you prefer. The happy hour cocktails were strong! The farmers breakfast of potatoes and the omelette were good starts to the day for dives. Location wise, if you're diving, it's a bit of a drive to the boats, but Sea Bees arranges transport if you're diving with them, a 15 minute walk to the market where there's ample souvenir shops and street food (and a 7 Eleven on the way), although plenty of cheaper places to eat on the way there.

We booked The Palm Garden as part of our dive package with Seabees. It’s a beautiful setting which perfectly suits its name. Bobby is the perfect hostess, always smiling and happy to help. Most of our time was spent away from the hotel, but we would return for happy hour which was nice after a long day diving. We only ate breakfast which is okay, but not great. The biggest disappointment was the American breakfast which really doesn’t deserve its name 😆 but you can’t really grumble given that it’s so cheap to eat in Thailand. I would certainly recommend staying here if you enjoy a relaxed, quiet hotel. Thank you Bobby 🙏🏽

A super loving and small (diving) resort on the edge of Khao Lak. The SeaBees diving base is integrated into the resort.The rooms are quite large enough and the air conditioning and fan are a blessing. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is great. The staff is just as great!It is also practical that you can rent a scooter from the resort, exchange money and have laundry done here.It's about a 15-minute walk to the many restaurants and bars in the center. But there are also closer ones. To Khao Lak Beach 30 minutes.

It started with a warm welcome from the owner, and the welcome from the diving school was also super cool.I'm always surprised at how friendly/warm the culture is here.It's the right place for the bungalow, it's a bit out of the way, it's a 10 minute walk, you can easily get a scooter to drive around and it doesn't cost much.If you want to dive, you've come to the right place here, there's a diving school on site that's very friendly.You can have breakfast and get food until a certain time.

TL, DR: a beautiful, quiet hotel with a very decent sized pool, a lot of facilities and the friendliest and most helpful staff I've met so far!+ Coffee from espresso machine!*Cannot recommend it high enough*The Palm Garden Resort Hotel is a beautiful, romantic resort in a small side street off the main road cutting through Khaolak.The whole area is quiet, with the occasional water pump sound. You can hear birds, cicadas, and the patrolling neighbourhood red kitty.The rooms are big, and so are the bathrooms.There's always hot water in the shower (that is not always the case everywhere).Very decent sized pool, where the on-site dive shop organises courses in the morning.The staff is incredibly polite and lovely, and Bobby, the very sweet lady who is the resort's emergency contact, has amazing English so if there's anything you need to discuss or ask - she's your person.Bobby also recommended a local event, and took care of a small bird I found one night at the pool, unable to fly, until it was well enough to fly ❤️ So yes, amazing people all around!The hotel's kitchen makes the best Tom Yum I've had so far, and I've eaten in a fair amount of places, so you must try it at least once! The kitchen is also vegan friendly and offers tofu and/or mushroom options as meat substitutes.The hotel also offers *very good coffee* - from an espresso machine(gasp), breakfast and lunch, and there is a water refill station at the reception so we can reduce the plastic waste we generate.You can hire a scooter for 250 or 350 baht for 24 hrs (depends on the size) and zoom around the area as the traffic is very low and and even very insecure drivers should enjoy the experience :)Free, quick WiFi.In short - the hotel offers pretty much anything - laundry service, taxi service, wake up calls, organised trips, you name it.It is situated within a 10 min walk to a very, very good (all ages friendly) Muay Thai school, a vegan restaurant (Beyond the Toot) and a few shops, local restaurants and massage places.It is barely 10 min on a scooter to a beautiful national park where one of the attractions is a small but stunning beach.The hotel is also within a walking distance from the tourist strip with multiple shops, restaurants, pharmacies and access to a luxury hotel's private beach (incredible sunsets).I absolutely loved staying there, and returning there in the evening after a day of activities, and I will definitely be back.Next time I'll skip Phuket whatsoever and just relax in TPGRS Khaolak.ขอบคุณ!

What a beautiful, cozy and quiet place. We had a wonderful time staying here thanks to the Manager Bobby and her friendly and helpful team. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the garden and the hammock in front of the room are great for relaxing, and the atmosphere is just perfect for a great holiday.

The location is a bit out of the way, but not far from the center. The rooms are very small, little storage space, but everything is very clean. Room service only on request. Food is supposed to be good, we only had breakfast once. Pool clean, enough loungers
