The short business trip ended like this. Before leaving, I booked this budget hotel for myself. It feels pretty good, it's quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The hotel facilities are simple and very clean. There is the beauty of simplicity. Like this style very much. The cathedral is right opposite, but it’s a pity that someone is not religious, hehe! I am going back to Shanghai soon, so let me have a good sleep. The bed is moderately soft and firm.

Also known as the Grand Soluxe Wangjiang Hotel. We booked through Expedia at what turned out to be the rack rate of 508RMB per night. Room had small desk with free broadband. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was fine. Overall nothing special but provided everything we needed at half the price on the nearby Shangra-La.
