Have been staying at Patumwan house for over a decade and is easily my favourite first stay when arriving in Bangkok. Writing this before the planned renovations in 2023, the hotel is an older design, but in a good way. Very spacious rooms, great for short or long stays. Located very conveniently in Patumwan, right next to the shopping heaven of Siam and 5 minutes from great transport options such as the Skytrain and Canal ferries, as well as all the usual. Combine with a very friendly and helpful staff, who are always happy to help with any questions. Add good value pricing and bag storage, it is for me my base camp every time I visit the City.

Excellent hotel in terms of cost benefit. Located within walking distance of the MBK shopping complex, Siam Paragon, Siam Center. bts stations nearby. Very helpful staff. We got a huge room for 4 people with two bedrooms, an entrance area with a large refrigerator, a sitting area. A total of two baths and toilets.Disadvantages:The room is a bit outdated.A bath and not a shower. The access from the main street goes through somewhat narrow alleys. There is no restaurantExcellent value for money.

This has the potential to be a great hotel. Needs some TLC as they’re a couple of shortcomings. They are starting renovations on the top floor so hopefully they’ll get this grand palace in great shape.

Family room 2600 baht (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with kitchen area), breakfast is not included in the price. The smell from the river is completely unpleasant. The location is convenient. Quiet. There were no personal hygiene products in the room (brushes, toothpaste)

I haven't stayed here, but since I was interested I went to visit it. I think the price-quality ratio is good. It is an old hotel, for me with a certain charm. It is located in an alley, you can avoid it in part depending on where you enter. The rooms are very large and have two comfortable looking chairs and a table. They also have a refrigerator and like a sink. He seemed very comfortable. It has the metro very close and an elevator to access it. The MBK and other shopping centers are also very close. I think that for the price it can be a good option.
