A small hotel located behind the Sheraton property. Like the area around the hotel, it has a strong local feel and the staff are kind. They were very helpful in arranging a taxi early in the morning and confirming it on the day.There are no safes or refrigerators in the rooms, but there is a Sheraton dormitory-like building in front of the hotel, and you can buy the minimum amount you need on the first floor. There is also a convenience store on the west side of the premises. (Also, there are many small restaurants on the west side, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat.)The shower has plenty of hot water.

We spent three nights at the Silk Road Hotel. If you are used to American or European standards you will be disappointed. But for a Chinese hotel it was clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast was also good. …
