In the heart of Bangkok, simple, correct, but no spa!!!

The price and quality are quite good. However, the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. The wood is a little rotten from the shower water. Cleaning is somewhat poor. You have to go barefoot around the house but your feet turn black.The best thing is that they gave us a room with a private bathroom and we had paid for one with a shared bathroom. And also in the room there was air conditioning and a fan. To spend a few nights it is very good. The villa is super hidden but it is a very quiet place and it is really close to Khao San, a 5-minute walk away. The mattress was very hard.

Value for money non-existent. No tidying up of the room, bathroom without tiles, entrance door with padlock. Yes it is true that it is a 92 year old house but a minimum of maintenance!!!! Strongly not recommended

Got Scram big time, original I was book for 10 dollar on booking and when I got there they charged me 20 dollar. After long day on the bus I just didn’t care about the cost and just want to rest so I paid 20 dollars for it. The room are old and the bed are low quality hurt my back, and the restroom are wet and moldy . Btw this is a ( Two person room ) I’m talking about , what you see in the picture is nowhere close when you are exactly here. This place locate in the slump in a very dark ally. ( Save YOUR MONEY& DISAPPOINTMENT and go somewhere else

There is no one at reception that speaks English or other language beside Thai they only have a sign to call/text someone, we call, text, WhatsApp and barely got a reply basically only when it was about an extra charge. …

If I could give no stars I would.Staff absolute no English, not helpful and came across grumpy.Signs up in English with a number of a lady, we did get to chat to her but she didn’t have much info or really provide assistance, in fact we text her a number of times times over two days with no reply. Really poor guest service. This ‘ call center’ lady must have a different job, don’t think she is ever onsite!Ok if you are just staying and know Bangkok, don’t expect any assistance or welcome, just a very basic room.With rain, there was leaks in common area, A/C leaked in room and generally run down. Not really like pictures

Good value for money, but you have to make compromises when it comes to comfort. Here you live in an almost 100-year-old wooden villa, it is noisy and the paths to the rooms are sometimes almost difficult, especially with more luggage. Of course there is no elevator and the steps and paths are very narrow. The bathroom takes some getting used to, we didn't recognize the shower as such at first. The absolute plus point is the roof terrace and of course the location. Still very quiet. It is also important to know that the house is located in a narrow street that is not accessible by car. So no taxi can go there either. The distance to the next stop is approx. 100 m.

Value for money is insane for Bangkok. So 1000 baht per night for a family of 4.Breakfast is fine, but there are so many great alternatives on Khaosan Road, 400 meters away, that I prefer to have breakfast there.Shower is in the room. So behind the door, the shower cubicle is the toilet with sink - unusual, but works surprisingly well.The staff hardly understands English, but they immediately offer a replacement or boss on the cell phone and that works really well.The small roof terrace is great in the evening.There is no room service while you are here.So everything is fine if you don't make too many demands.

Well they don't have any jet shower in their toilet. Those who have OCD, this would be a nightmare for you. Bathrooms are not so clean here. The lock of room doesn't work. And the rooms on top floors are more likely microwave. In the sunny days rooms will not get cold on 16 degree of AC temperature. There is also communication issue. As they don't understand English. And if you really want to enjoy night life of Bangkok then this would be a worst choice for you.
