We arrived early in the morning and had no issues entering our rooms, thanks to the clear instructions provided. Everything was in place, and all the essentials were available. Uncle Chai was incredibly friendly and approachable, making our stay even more comfortable. There's truly nothing to worry about when staying here. Also, it is infront of the Police Station and beside bank. The price is very reasonable, and for the experience, it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place! Also, don’t miss out on trying their drinks, especially the Thai Milk Tea—I'm absolutely in love with it! Definitely will come back again.

What a perfect little hotel. Chai is the most wonderful, helpful and generous host. This is such a cheerful place with a lovely little cafe on the ground floor. Chai will make you an awesome coffee! Rooms are very basic, but are clean, and have great air conditioning. Excellent China Town location, close to cool markets. Budget travelers will absolutely adore this place.

I can only report good things. Chai is an incredibly warm-hearted and accommodating host who was happy to take the time to have longer conversations. Not only was the room very clean, Chai also gave me very interesting "insider" tips about the area. Even if you don't stay overnight, Sip N' Camp is worth a visit (or several). Chai's Iced Thai Coffee is outstanding and in fact I haven't found a better one in all of Chinatown. Thank you for making the start of my Thailand trip unforgettable right from the start! 🙏

We always enjoy coming to Chai. It's not a luxury hotel and everything is a bit spartan. However, you feel right at home and absolutely great for the price. You can do laundry for free, have water, coffee and shower gel and all in a great location! Top!

I can confidently say the owner of this place is one of the nicest people I've ever met!Ended up sitting there for about an hour getting my cofee and just talking with him abiut my own culture, his family, thai culture and food. He was so welcoming and answered every question I had, and gave me some recommendation about Thailand. And the cofee is excellent!

THE MOST- Friendly welcome from Chai. He bends over backwards to help. He spontaneously offers recommendations for visiting the city. I already know Bangkok well so I didn't need it much, but for most tourists it must be very useful. He just informed me about the National Museum in Bangkok which I didn't know yet and even called them for me to get the information I needed.- The accommodation is clean and rather well located, with the must-see temples of Bangkok (Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun) less than 30 minutes away on foot. You will be in the Chinatown district, so close to the market and Yaowarat Street.- The guesthouse is very well equipped and trust is essential, as indicated on site. You have coffee, biscuits, bottles of water, a washing machine (with sachets of laundry detergent) and a dryer, and everything is at your disposal free of charge, which is rare enough to point out. .- The showers are good, with hot water and good pressure. Large tubes of shampoo and shower gel are also provided.- The room is air-conditioned. I had two bunk beds (I was alone so no need but oh well). The wifi worked well, I didn't have any problems.THE LEAST- The building as well as the rooms are a little dated, dark, cluttered from a space point of view, and the decoration is not really up to par. Basically it's a bit spartan but it's still very functional and you get what you pay for. So if you are looking for something more cozy and/or comfortable this may not be for you but you will have to pay more elsewhere. Otherwise it will be good value for money here.- As is often the case in Bangkok and Thailand, accommodations are very poorly soundproofed and this one is clearly no exception. The neighbors in the next room got up quite early one morning and suddenly woke me up. Remember to take earplugs.- Like everywhere in Chinatown, the guesthouse is well located in relation to the tourist center of the city, but is not sufficiently well served for my taste (no BTS Skytrain for example). The surrounding streets are not very interesting, with few good restaurants nearby.- You have to go down the floor to have access to the shared bathrooms (toilets/showers).- The room was not very big, but for me it was enough.

It is honestly the best place to stay or grab a coffee/tea in Bangkok. The experience really made my trip better. The owner is extremely sweet, and has a lot of advices and recommendations on where to go, where to eat. The beverages are delicious, the rooms very cute, the place very clean. I stayed 3 weeks all over the country of Thailand but this was my favourite stay. Chai has been the warmest, kindest host, you can say that he put all his heart in creating Sip’N’Camp. Go to places created by passionate people like Chai. One thing is sure, when I come back to Thailand, I will stay there!!
