This is a very cool location. The backstreets are amazing and you could really feel the community.The restaurant a few doors down is worth a visit or two or three. While you're there book a tour of the canals.I have to say it is a bit rough around the edges and I wouldn't say I was disappointed our next stop was a boutique hotel. Worth mentioning but IMHO so worth it.

I was able to spend a peaceful day in a traditional Klong House, a quiet neighborhood within the temple.The host, Ohm, is a very pleasant and cool guy, and his friend who came to meet us was also very kind.The interior of the Canal House is also beautiful, with clean and well-thought-out interior design.What was especially nice was that there was a delicious restaurant right next door, Wat Arun was just a 10-minute walk away, and there was a dock across the river to Wat Pho right in front of Wat Arun.It's the perfect place to explore Wat Arun in the quiet of the morning or cross the river at sunset to watch the sunset at Wat Arun from the rooftop.A long day passes by just watching the longtail boats pass by at Canal House with nothing to do.* I was surprised while admiring the scenery on the terrace in the morning!! There is a family of crocodiles living in the river..ㅎㄷㄷ* Recommended for those who hate bugs or want urban cleanliness.

Situated in a less developed housing location near the canal.The atmosphere has the smell of sea food and canal.Can see the fishes,boats going through canal.The hosts were really welcoming.

Wonderful stay with my parents, the house is just in front of a khlong which allowed us to get some "fresh air" and leave for a few hours the busyness of Bangkok city. Ohm, the owner was so kind and friendly, we took a guided tour with him and we all enjoyed it. Would totally recommend !
