If you want to stay in a popular area of Bangkok, far from tourists, while being well accommodated and quiet, go for it! You will just be woken up by the noise of residents getting up early in the morning, but you will not hear the cars, rather the little birds. After a day in the buzz of the city, you will appreciate it! The owners are very kind and give good advice. They do not hesitate to help you organize an outing. A few meters away, they have a restaurant along the canal where you eat really well. I recommend+++.👍

If there were 10 stars, I would give 10 stars. The whole house is great. Come and become people, sleep comfortably, the accommodation is very clean. Divided into proportions for usable use well. It's like coming to a relative's house. There are all the amenities you need, except for the TV. I don't normally watch TV. Enter the entrance, it's quiet, located in a community that blends in with the community. The homeowner and the service team are very good. Very impressive. Definitely will come to use the service again.You must come and stay. I can tell you that everything is perfect and very impressive from the accommodations to the service. Excellent 👍

It's actually one of the rooms a little further away called Priscilla. It's a nice room, very clean and the bathroom is also well done. The bed is comfortable. The balcony is nice. We were welcomed kindly.But there are two important points which lower the pleasure and the rating. The first is the rolling curtain of the balcony which is fixed and which hides the view. Yet there are no buildings, just the charming roofs of the small houses. There is even a beautiful temple that you cannot see. We understand that when it rains it protects and from the sun too (west) but it remains strange to hide the view.The second point is more important. Above the two bedrooms you can hear the neighbors (who are apparently the owners of the building). When it's not the washing machine, it's knocks, footsteps and even their little dog. All this ruined our stay.The very steep staircase does not have a handrail, very dangerous.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Staying at the Canal Next Door was like visiting old friends. TT and Ohm are exemplary hosts and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. It was all the little touches that are never expected that had us feeling so at ease here. The room was so comfortable and private - nice little balcony to enjoy the evenings on. Rest of the house was very clean and cozy. We absolutely loved the neighborhood and the canal life. TT gave us a little tour of her neighborhood which gave us a local's background. We did the evening food and tuktuk tour with Ohm and his friend Eso and thought it was a first rate experience. You get a great taste of amazing hospitality here.
