I had to stay just north of Bangkok as my flight was delayed for four hours and I won't drive at night, living as I do, four hours' drive north through rural areas. The Google Maps directions were (mostly) accurate but I suggest you get into the "frontage road" three km south of the turn off, especially if - as I was - driving through peak hour traffic.Anyway! Off-street parking next door. The receptionist was very efficient and professional. The room (I was on the second floor, or first floor in the UK or Australia) was a good size, bed enormous and very firm, water pressure and heat from the shower was excellent, coffee and tea making provided as were bath gel and shampoo. Towels were great. There is no on-site restaurant BUT there is a menu at reception and the receptionist will call for delivery of any if a dozen or so dishes at normal rates (being "local" meal rates, not "tourist gouging" rates) however, I decided that I didn't need a full meal and took advantage of the food cart outside the mum and dad shop next door. Three skewers; 30 baht. But what stands out about this hotel is it was *absolutely* spotless. No dust in my room (seriously, the place was so well presented, I wiped my hand across the top.of the fridge) and the floors were squeaky clean. Even the office downstairs was uncluttered. And it was so quiet. I'm not sure how many guests were staying and even though the door to the room seems thin, there was no guest noises and the neighbourhood was so quiet. If(when) another flight into Bangkok when returning home is delayed/"rescheduled" and I need to stay a night before a drive home the next day, I'll stay here again.Oh! After this lengthy review in English (I'm Australian) I do have one warning for foreign visitors: no English is spoken, no signage, nothing. All Thai. But if you've travelled in Thailand enough, you know that all you need to present your booking documents and passport. That's it.Ordering food shouldn't be a problem, either, there are pictures. And the prices of the food on the menu use the international number system, not the Thai numbering system.Great 12-hour stay. Price was very good. And the next morning? Easy to get onto Route 1 going north: reverse out of carpark, drive 300m, turn left, you're on it!
