I was coming in late from out of town to the Gateway Hotel. I called the same day as my check-in date to confirm my room and to let them know I would be arriving around 10;30pm. They confirmed my room and that someone would be there to check me in. When I got there they said there were "technical" problems with the room and there were no more hotels in the building available. I had demanded a refund and they refused. They said they had another hotel location they could set me up with for the night. The first hotel they suggested, was a 1 star, dirty hotel with no AC, dirty comforter and the door did not lock properly. I declined that hotel, and then they brought me to a second location, this place had no AC, bathroom lights did not work and it smelled. The front desk person almost mentioned to not answer the door if someone knocked. This made me very uncomfortable. Finally, after almost 3 hours of going back and forth, demanding a refund and a nice hotel like I had already paid for. I was declined it all and asked to "compromise" to a third hotel location. By all means, this hotel was nowhere near the amount of quality the gateway hotel was. I paid for AC, safety, cleanliness and proper necessities, none of these were met and my money was not returned to me. I had confirmed, pre-booked and doubled checked my stay before arriving late at night. I will never return to this hotel and I would not suggest it to anyone staying in Bangkok. This is very disappointing for a female traveller.

Near for pratunam but not have parking. If you take mat or boat better. About my experience I forgot lost my passport at counter the foreign staff send back for me.I arrived Gateway Hotel just reopened again.

One of the best 3 stars hotel. Room might be small, and no windows. Staff is super friendly and helpful. location is superb, 3 store of 7-11 nearby. Stayed there for 5 days, it was a pleasant stays.

Booked this 3-star hotel thinking that it would be good. The main lobby looks nice but sometimes there would be unsightly pile of stuff there. The hotel was in a small alley which was very easy to miss. The room didn’t have any windows and there were a lot of things that were not very satisfactory:- There was only a pillow on the bed.- There were lots of noises coming from the outside (?) and other rooms (?)- There was no outlet near the bed/nightstand.- There were cobwebs everywhere.- The shower head didn’t match the hose and the angle can’t be adjusted.The toilet seat was not screwed to the toilet!!!- The grout was disgusting and stained.- There was nowhere to put your shampoo and stuff in the shower. There were holes on the wall which seemed like it was where the soap dish was mounted before.- The light bulb in the room was busted and it wasn’t even replaced before we checked in.

This hotel is located in the best place for shopping and eating. The rooms are clean but there are some points to be improved as following:1- Old towels2- No heat water3- low water pressure

Highly not recommended! You should avoid this hotel. Very bad service, from the receptionist to the cleaning service. Our room wasn't cleaned, didn't get water, didn't change the towels, when we reported it, the receptionist got angry and blamed us for not reporting it to be cleaned. He was told to take the water himself because it was not the receptionist's job, he said. All employees are very unhelpful. If there is a request, their faces will be very irritated, they will not answer our questions, they will even sigh and complain! They even gossiped about us using their local language and pointing, not polite. Even though the rooms are clean, the service is very unfriendly.Not recommended! You should avoid this hotel. Very poor service, from reception to cleaning service. Our room was not cleaned, not given water, not changed towels, when we reported, the receptionist got angry and blamed us for not reporting for cleaning. We were told to get our own water because it's not the receptionist's job, she said. The whole staff is very unhelpful. If there is a request, they will have a very annoyed look on their face, not answering our questions, even sighing complaining! Not easy to find. Hiding behind the main Street. Boring breakfast, but u can start shopping once u step out of the hotel. Again, looking for this hotel front door was a nightmare especially with your luggages. Spacious room, without windows. Looks like an apartment more than a hotel.

The receptionist was awful, unfriendly and sinical. The room was wide but look old, especialy the shower room tile's was look old and out of date. Pay attention to the condition of the room utility once you get in, they might charge for any damage or broken utilities when you check out. Breakfast not Mosleem friendly, if you are Mosleem. The only value point of this hotel is position right in the heart of Pratunam Market. Money wise its not cheap anyway. If you are merchant with lil deaf ear then go ahead. Still a lot of value for money budget hotel around.
