Overall, I had a great experience. You have self checking, which is a bonus. You have a very good Thai restaurant next to the hotel that you can eat that which is also bonus the rooms are very cool and stylish and it has a really great kitchen with Plenty of things. The outside the room bathrooms are not really a problem. The road is noisy and you can’t block the whole sunlight that comes from outside.

The mattress on the floor was worn out - We could feel every knobbly spring and couldn't sleep at all. The sheets had holes in them. Weird stains on the walls and rotten patches all along the floor. An ants nest in the wall at one point near the bed. Only some of the windows had curtains and those that were there were thin white sheets that didn't meet. The roof terrace was full of rotting scrap wood and only had 1 chair. I have no idea where the good reviews came from. This was the worst place we have stayed in in Bangkok. Thankfully the owner did offer us a full refund and apologisd that he would not be able to fix all the issues straight away. But that doesn't explain why it was rented in this state.

This accommodation is great. It's hot but the air conditioning works perfectly, there is also a fan. The shower toilets are private and right next to the bedroom, it's very practical. Jonathan was very responsive to our questions. The house also has a great rooftop, a washing machine and an equipped kitchen (fridge, dishes, etc.). The neighborhood is very nice, we found the experience to be very local. Tuktuks are easily found to reach the more touristy areas. Very few negative points: the bathroom mirror is very small and therefore impractical (you just need to add one in the room), and the curtains are not blackout at all (remember to bring night masks if you have trouble with light). During the day there is a little noise but at night the area is very quiet, you don't hear anything and it's not disturbing at all. We recommend this Airbnb, the decoration is charming we loved the experience. THANKS ! We will come back!!

Simple room but it had everything you need. Nicely furnished, good rooftop, a little kitchen to share with 2 other rooms if you like to make yourself a tea or whatever. Big plus: 2 bikes to rent for free! Convenient in flat BKK.

Stumbled upon this gem of a guesthouse on my last trip to BKK. Close to all the action in the charming old town/chinatown. Rustic ambience, lovely sunset view and spacious rooms. If you are ever curious about the science behind sunsets and clouds, the Aussie chap who runs this place is a real expert, so you are in for a treat. Highly recommend!!

As a traveler I don’t like to go twice at the same place, but I liked it so much that if I go back to Bangkok, I would for sure book a room at Baan Khaosoi again !Lovely place, you would make no mistake going there

We really liked the accommodation! The room is simple but very nice and the air conditioning is a real saving grace in hot Bangkok! The house is really cute and you feel very comfortable and welcome! You can wash clothes for free and dry them on the roof terrace. There is a small kitchen and drinking water is always there. At night it is nice and quiet in the area and in the room. The location is perfect, close to the piers so you can catch the ferry and in one of the coolest areas in Bangkok! Thank you for the great time!

Wonderful cozy rooms at Baan KhaoSoi. Great location to visit China town and also Talat Noi. All very clean and efficient! Opposite the place there is also a very convenient and nice local restaurant!

It’s a charmer for sure! Seems new, so I’m happy to be one of their first guests.It was a pleasant surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place looks as is in the photos, very homey and clean. Lots to discover around the area (cafes, eateries) it’s perfect if you’re looking to experience a different (chill) side of Bangkok and spend your days walking/biking around. Many thoughtful touches around the space and the rooftop was the perfect place to grab some drinks at night – try their homemade wine!Already looking forward to my next stay :)

This was such a special find in Chinatown! It’s a short walk from MRT Hua Lampong and located right in the neighborhood so you feel like you’re getting a really local experience. Rooftop has a great view as well and the space is very cozy. Theres a guitar, books, kitchen that you can cook, and even a canvas and paint for coloring. 😍 Most importantly the hosts are super nice and know all the best recommendations! Will definitely come again.
