From Canada, we decided to stay in Chinatown for an authentic experience. Our accommodation was strategically situated between Chinatown and the MRT station, providing a comfortable stay for me and my 8-year-old son. We received hospitable service and appreciated the cleanliness of our quarters.

Hotel is located on a narrow lane just off Yaowarat Road. Very quiet but close to lots of stalls and restaurants.My room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Eclectic period furnishings add to charm. I was able to check in early and leave my bag at reception after checking out. Shower and toilet available after check out, which was great since I had until 5pm to explore City.Friendly and obliging staff who stay on premises.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the owner was great. He really did everything right, cleaned the room everyday and asked us beforehand, the breakfast was chinese styled and different everyday. During breakfast he asked us our plan and the day we didnt have a plan, he gave us great recommendations.

"Long (going to sleep) at Yaowarat" The hostel owner's uncle is very kind. Take care of him like a father Find food for the children to eat 😂😂 Fun chatting, hostels are not difficult to find, easy to find things to eat, wander around at night and chill. The hostel is decorated in style. Modern-Chinese Homey scent Gives a feel like being at home Downstairs is a cafe. On the day we went, there weren't many people. You can stay comfortably. The rooms are clean and have amenities ready. The room is a private room. In the morning, breakfast is served in lunchboxes. It's chicken rice. Full stomach, good price, I reccommend this place ;)

The hotel is close to Soi Plangnam, making it very convenient and easy to walk to.The room is good, there is no disturbance, and cleanliness is rated ten out of ten.The bathroom amenities are good, but the bathroom might not be suitable for larger individuals.The bed is very comfortable.It's soft, firm, and doesn't cause back pain.There is a parking service available for 300 baht, and it's not far from the hotel and the best thing about this hotel is the owner. They are very friendly and provide excellent assistance.

The location is excellent - a 3-min walk from Wat Mangkorn MRT, there is a nearby mall called I'm Chinatown with a Watsons, 7-11, and a Thai traditional costume rental shop. The location is also a 5-min walk from Songwat, a trendy district undergoing revival with tons of hipster cafes and shops popping up.The hostel is incredibly safe and clean. A keycard is required to enter the main door. The private room has a high ceiling, and feels spacious. The wifi works perfectly well too and is great for remote working. The host is also super kind, and makes you feel right at home. Guests are provided with bottled water, local breakfast delights, and basic amenities like hair dryer, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and body soap. There is also a fridge in the main reception area that can be used.I cannot rave about Lhong Yaowarat enough - in just a few short days, it has become a home away from home, and makes me miss Bangkok and Songwat already. Can't wait to be back!

If you want to be in Chinatown, but not in the thick of the madness stay here. Beautifully appointed rooms, a little quirky, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a treat everyday. There is a fridge full of juices and ice cold water. The best stay in Bangkok at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended

Pros: lovely aesthetics and the whole vibe of the hotel was homey and relaxing. The rooms were very spacious and were equipped with basic hotel amenities. Bed was comfortable, but it does not have a bed frame, it's just laid on the floor. The Owner was very attentive to our needs and very approachable despite his limited english. He's also always positively happy. Breakfast was good and filling. The location is superb, being right at Yaowarat, but keep in mind that this hotel is not located in front of a street so you'd have to look for it a bit. Functional TV with wifi connectivity so you can watch netflix and YouTube.Cons: its not difficult to find but you'd have to walk a few steps into an alley to get to the hotel. There is no elevator. This is a family home converted into a hotel, thus understandably so, you cant install an elevator. The stairs and some corridors are quite narrow, especially if you're a Caucasian and on the heavier side. But a regular sized asian would have no problems with the space. Most of the time, rooms are peaceful and quiet, but sometimes you can hear the neighborhood restaurants' staff washing their dishes because this hotel is in the back alley.Overall, highly recommended for backpackers and couples. I don't recommend this if you're carrying a lot of luggage though because of the lack of elevators.

Thank you for taking care of me for 2 nights and 3 days on a solo trip from Japan 🙌🏻The owner is very kind and welcoming, and the room is clean.She asked me what time I had breakfast and prepared a different meal for both days, which was very delicious🥲Also, there is a washing machine, but there is no dryer.The guest rooms are on the second floor and above, and there are no elevators, so you will have to climb the stairs.Since it's in Chinatown, I wondered if the owner could speak Chinese, so I asked the owner, but he didn't seem to speak it. Although my Thai was poor, she understood and communicated with me😌🩵If I had to say one thing, I would say it's a good idea to bring your favorite shampoo. It didn't suit my hair type...😿

The lovely owner gives full advice and assistance. The rooms are cutely decorated. The mattress is soft and good. Sleeps very comfortably. Fully equipped. Breakfast is very Yaowarat style. Delicious as per the invitation *** The location is excellent, suitable for staying for a walk, a taste, and viewing Yaowarat at night.
