Very good. For a price of 160 thousand, you can get 1 room with a queen size bed. The room is a bit small if you bring a suitcase you can put it under the bed to save space. Very strategic location. I stayed here for almost 2 weeks, to get to Tunjungan Plaza, it's nice to just walk less than 1 km, Plaza Surabaya is also only 200-300 meters, Grand City is also close. It really is a hidden gem because it looks like a cafe from the outside.In this hotel in one building there are 2 types of services.1. Private room (1 room for 1 guest)2. Capsule room (1 large room can accommodate 10 people divided by 2 partitions)For around 160, you can have breakfast with bread topped with matcha and sprinkles, you can eat until your stomach explodes, there's coffee, there's tea, there's a gallon of water.If you want to go to Alfa Mart close by, Indomaret is close by, Gubeng train station is close by, if you want to eat cheaply you can go to the simple depot next to the Sahid Hotel, if you want to hang out up to date you can go to Wantutu, if you want all you an eat you can go to Hanamasa.All distances < 1 kilometer.If you want to book cheaper on Agoda, search for "Lively Hotel City Center Surabaya"

So disappointingWhen I arrived, I understood pretty fast that the advertisement photos are heavily edited and outdated.It was SO dirty. They simply just sweep the floors and spray the bathrooms with the shower head to clean it daily. Thatâs it.The linen are only changed between guests, and not even sure mine had been changed, since the second I pulled the âblanketâ from between the mattress and the wall, there was a crusty, white, dried puddle of snot(?) on it. The pillow WAS COMPLETELY YELLOW from sweat, and smelled so bad that Iâm pretty sure it has never been washed.The privacy screen of my pod (and seemingly othersâ as well) had squashed bugs, vomit stains and snot which couldâve been easily cleaned with cleaning wipes.The bathroom that all the 30 people in my room shared, was always either dirty, broken, wet, out of toilet paper or smelled horrible. Same with all the other bathrooms in this hostel (yes, actually checked them all trying to find a place to change my clothes).There were no working lockers, so you just have to pray that nobody is curious enough to go through your stuff while youâre away.Didnât even try the breakfast, so canât comment on that.Oh and also be prepared to listen to couples smooching all night on the double bunks. For some reason this placed seemed like a love hostel for young couples.My biggest regret right after booking this hostel is that I didnât take pictures to show you how bad it was

The location is close to Gubeng station, walk approximately 10 minutes. There is a waiting room, you can wait to check in while eating. Check-in time is 14.00. Because the weedend capsule room was full, so we got a private one, cost 300k. There is a TV (but it doesn't work for pay channels), AC (adeem), private bathroom (there's warm water, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, bath soap looks like it but it's really slippery, or is it shampoo?), drinking water, clothes hanger 2, sockets (1 near the bed, 1 near the sink). Can be on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator. OK, if you want to be near Gubeng.

1. No locker available (i lost my cap inside shower room) they dont really care of the safety awareness of guest personal belongings.2. No key access room available.3. The Booking rsvp Thru app always active eventho the room already full. So the management could re allocate to their group property.4. Lack of toilet cleanliness and many damages toiletries i.e Shower, toilet flush, sink etc5. Property Description must be clearly mention that this is not a Hotel but a Hostel, dormitory room with capsule bed!!!I wont recommend anyone to stay any longer at this property, the increment of price is not competitive compared to the other hostel listing.Remember this is a Hostel i.o Hotel with studio room expectation.

hotel for transit, the hotel is clean, the service is good and professional.. the location is close to Gubeng station, if you want to find something to eat, just look in the Monkasel area..

Good location hostel. Staff is more than great. I got an issue with my shoes and they really did everything to solve the problem and succeeded, I felt very happy!!Breakfast is toasts with spread and coffee/ tea.

I stayed here for one night. Overall pretty disappointing experience.On the bright side the location is great very close to Gubeng train station and the beds are the capsule style ones with coverings.Now, to the bad points:- only one joined shower+toilet and sink for the whole floor (around 20 beds) which is obviously not enough at all- the rooms was too cold at night. It would be fine if there was a proper blanket but instead there was only very thin blanket covering- I went to the lobby to get a breakfast at around 9:30am and was told that it was already finished and given an excuse that there were a lot of customers that day (how is it my problem?) and so I was out of lackAs I said before very disappointing.

Really near Gubeng station. Those who don't have a vehicle can walk, but those who go by motorbike from the direction of the city hall to the submarine are better off using the small road near the river so they can go straight into the hotel parking lot next to it. Only minus in the parking lot.

A comfortable place to stop and near the Plaza Mall, WTC and Grand City are also close to Gubeng Station, the atmosphere in the capsule is also quiet even though there are lots of guests, if you want to order to eat out just order a motorbike taxi, the capsule price is affordable and you can get bread for breakfast for those in the room type which is also still okay for the price, the staff are nice, the toilets are ok because a lot of them use them, that's it but it's not bad, overall it's suitable for a place to stop overnight...

Studio hotels are popular in Surabaya because they are near Gubeng Station. If you just want to lie down for a few hours, you can try it. In one room there are 80 beds mixed with boys and girls. But private because each bed is closed. Just take a short rest while waiting for the train or trip departure schedule. Sometimes the sharing bathroom is not clean. Staff friendly. There are towels too. Position on the side of a major road. The room smells clean and there is no lift so take the stairs. I'm going to stay overnight later

It's like if you go to SBY, you really want to come back here. The staff are friendly when asked for help and pay attention to cleanliness. I really like walking near the road there. Oh, when I was there, there was a very cute little orange cat, I hope he likes it there and won't be careless.
