I can only recommend the Mondo Surfcamp to everyone! A great community with great surf instructors and yoga teachers. I had the best time here. Super nice rooms and overall a really nice, well-kept camp.I would come back at any time.

I want to go bacckkk :( a little oasis in canggu, amazing staff, great atmosphere, best service, incredible surf instructors (with a videographer and theory lessons and regular video analysis), great food, yoga classes twice a day included, lovely and super clean rooms equipped with electric mosquito repellent (we had 0 mosquitos in our room), affordable and amazing balinese massages, … the list goes on, 10000/10 best surf camp in bali

Mondo is the perfect place for beginner surfers who want an authentic Bali experience! The local staff and instructors are what make the experience truly special. On arrival, I immediately felt welcomed and part of the Mondo family. During my 12 night stay, I gained a lot of confidence in my surfing skills and also met so many amazing people from around the world. I will definitely be coming back!

This was my first time traveling solo, and I couldn’t have picked a better place than Mondo. Everything about my stay was perfect! The resort itself is stunning, my room was beautifully kept, and the food was great.What truly sets Mondo apart though, is the incredible staff. Every single person is kind, friendly, and welcoming!The surf lessons were amazing! The instructors are super knowledgeable & make sure everyone is having a great time, no matter your level of experience. They are funny and friendly and made every session so much fun!I met great friends and made unforgettable memories here. I’m so grateful to the wonderful Mondo team for making this trip so special. I have chosen to stay at Mondo for a weeks Surf & Yoga break, for three consecutive years, my two daughters have also experienced Mondo on a separate trip & loved it !Mondo provides the perfect idyllic haven , away from hustle & bustle of Canggu’s main drag.The staff team are warm hearted , friendly and do their upmost to ensure everyone’s needs are met. I saw this in their attention to remember our names, always checking in how our day had been and if we needed anything.This year we opted for the intermediate level surf package . The surf coaches and support team were amazing , very skilled at reading the ocean, and ensuring we were safe and catching waves that suited our abilities. All this was done with a fun , positive vibe !Yoga sessions were varied, with great instructors.Check out Mondo….. it’s chilled , fun and value for money.Thanks heaps Corinne

I stayed at Mondo solo for a week in a private room. I had 5 days of group surfing lessons each morning. The surroundings and rooms at the retreat including the bar, pool, dining space, gardens and yoga room are all incredibly well maintained and beautiful. It really is an escape.The food on-site is delicious and the team are attentive. 4 days we surfed at Kuta Beach & 1 day at Jimbaran. This is the only challenge at mondo - the travelling time and distance to the beaches, this is exasperated by the heavy and unpredictable Bali traffic - some days we spent 3+hrs in the car round trip. It’s just something to be aware of before booking.There isn’t a lot in walking distance of the retreat so make sure you are comfortable jumping on a Grab motorbike to get around.I can’t fault the surf instructors at all - they are all happy, encouraging and patient. They hustle to make sure you learn and get some waves regardless of your skill level. The video analysis (Wed & Sat) is incredibly helpful and a nice thing to be able to keep to reflect on your own progress.Yoga classes morning and evening are beautiful and a nice way to take care of your body while doing so much. There are other classes available at the retreat such as Mauy Thai, Photography and Aerial Yoga.All round I had a beautiful experience and wish I had been able to stay for another week.The capacity for guests here is less than 30 so there is a real familiar and friendly vibe amongst guests and team, where everyone gets to know everyone easily.I’ll definitely be back - thank you Mondo for such a great week!

Only go to Mondo if you wanna consider quitting uni, moving to Bali and surfing every day. The owners (Gina and Arvid) were absolutely amazing in taking us surfing, sharing the waves and bringing the good vibes. Breakfast was super good and all the staff, specifically Ekka, Theo and Iao were super lovely and made you feel right at home. I was in the intermediate surf group and felt way better at turns and duck diving thanks to the surfing boys. I also feel way better in reading and picking my wave, thanks to Hassan I will always paddle with the my feet closed. I went with my family which was awesome but I didn't think I would meet as many cool people and have such a good time. Also the Aloevera absolutely saved my life after a pretty bad sunburn, so plenty of that around in the garden if you need. Thanks to the Mondo team for an amazing holiday, hope to see you guys again:)

This was our third time back to Mondo. It's the perfect surf and yoga package in a chill and beautiful environment. The staff are super friendly, the yoga instructors are excellent and the surf team was very organised with different classes for beginners and intermediate levels. They also organised different size boards for us , drove us to different locations to experience different waves and made sure we were safe in some of the bigger conditions. Thanks so much again to all of the Mondo Team for another fantastic surf holiday.

It may sound trite, but I really had the best time of my life at Mondo Surf Village and was simply over the moon for a week.I would come back anytime.If you are a solo traveler (like me), friends, couple or family looking for a mix of sporting activity and a relaxing vacation and want to meet lots of friendly people from all over the world, this is the perfect place for you.From the surf coaches Mika, Dandhi and Batol to the bartender Agos and the “bosses” of the resort Eka and Ayu, all the staff were extremely friendly and you felt like you were part of a big family.Compared to other camps, new people can arrive here daily (not just weekly), so you get to know lots of new people incredibly quickly.The Surf Village is located at the top end of Canggu, which makes it completely quiet in the complex and the rooms, but you can still get to the bars, beach and shops very quickly (take a grab scooter).The outside area is extremely idyllic and is reminiscent of Balinese houses in the jungle.We usually went surfing at around 7.00 am.We had breakfast in the car (pancakes, fruit bowls, nasi goreng, scrambled eggs, ...). As beginners, we usually surfed at Kuta Beach.The coaches were always tailored to the size of the group through aditional local coaches and we usually had 1:2 supervision. As a result, you make progress extremely quickly and have a lot of fun surfing (which you have simply because of the always good-humored coaches and their great sense of humor). There are also photos and video analysis to improve your surfing.You can also have lunch after surfing or dinner at the camp. The kitchen is open from lunch to dinner. The food was really delicious, the selection of local and international cuisine was great and even cheaper than in the restaurants outside.The rooms, like the rest of the complex, are in excellent condition, always clean and well maintained (and not just by Indonesian standards).In the afternoon, you can book a massage or other activities. Alternatively, you can simply hang out by the wonderful pool in the middle of the beautiful complex with relaxing music from the pool bar, a little snack and a delicious drink. The evening yoga session usually takes place around 5.00 pm.The traditional barbecue on Saturday evening is just one of the many highlights.There is no surfing on Sundays, so you can take a trip to Ubud, for example, to see temples, waterfalls and rice fields.I can only warmly recommend everyone to book a stay at Mondo Surf Village!Thanks to the entire Mondo team for this indescribably great time, which I will never forget and would never want to miss.

This is a beautiful location, if you really want to be staying at a price worthy surf camp you would wanna stay here. The nature is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and the surf teachers are great! The owner is also very kind and nice. 👍🏼 And also the food is amazing! 🤩 I’m very happy about my time at Mondo! It’s also quiet and it feels safe!

Nice solution. The rooms are pretty. It’s a shame that surf teachers don’t give much advice. A quieter and (therefore) more isolated part of Canggu. Questionable value for money, but it remains a good solution. Nice people and good vibes

I loved it!Everyone who worked there was really nice and friendly.It was clean and I felt comfortable.Breakfast was delicious and the one evening meal was tasty too.Yoga was great.Surf lessons were great. I felt very safe.It was easy to order a grab from the camp to get to the centre.
