Best local experience ever!!! Mr Hero, Joe and Jay took care of us like we were family. They showed us amazing places with no tourists around: school, local market, art studio, secret waterfalls… They are the loveliest people. If you are looking for a real local experience, this is it! The rooms are very spacious, confortable and clean, with amazing views on rice fields in the country side. Great breakfast also! We will visit again for sure! Thanks so much, we miss you already

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. We were looking for a place in central Lombok to spend the night before heading to Sumbawa the next morning. We called and they confirmed the reservation quickly. They waited for us until 10pm and welcomed us with hot tea. They were super friendly, we talked with them for a while sharing stories, laughter and they gave us recommendations for our next trip. Afterwards they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed in the room before saying goodbye.The room we stayed in was very special and super clean. The bathroom is spacious and has everything you need to clean yourself. Dryer included!Also, they brought us extra water when we mentioned that we were thirsty and hadn't bought water. The sunrise over the rice fields with direct views was spectacular. Spending a night here, surrounded by nature and getting to know the hosts, is really worth it.

100% recommend it!We were looking for a place to spend the night while crossing Lombok towards Sumbawa and we called Villa Matahari. It was late but they waited us with a big smile and welcomed us to our room. Before entering the room we spent an hour chatting, laughing and getting recommendations for our trip.The room was very spacious and super clean with a huge window overlooking the rice fields. The sunrise was beautiful.The room had coffee, aircon and and a really nice rustic vibe. The owners/staff were super friendly and warm. So happy we ended there.Terima Kasih and Sampai Jumpa!

I specifically chose this hotel away from the road and the city to be in silence and listen to the birds singing with a view of the rice terrace. The experience was not so good; the neighboring cottage had a huge speaker used for mass events like weddings and from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM turned it on full blast with music. I'm not against music, but why is it so loud? Are you deaf? For whom did you turn it on? For the crowds in the field? If it's too quiet for you, put it inside your cottage, put your ear to it, and listen. Why should others listen to your music at full volume? As for the hotel and staff, the guys are great, friendly, waited for my late check-in, thank you, the hotel is clean and pleasant to sleep in. We spent two magnificent weeks in this calm and relaxing place. The whole team is amazing and so kind. Thanks to Heru, Adi and Ami who welcomed us like family. We hope they achieve their dreams and we will not forget them.
