A place with immaculate vibes and warm, welcoming people. The hospitality was something else here and I am genuinely sad to leave after 2 weeks (extended from the 4 days I initially planned on) at Hijau. A huge thank you goes to all the people (and Choco/Coko the doggo ❤️) who made the stay awesome. To whoever is reading this right now - just book!

Simple and quiet hostel in a green setting, everything is outdoors in the middle of nature, the atmosphere is peaceful and we are only 15 minutes from Mataram by scooter!Hosts can help us with any questions. The atmosphere between travelers is friendly. I recommend!

Highly recommended! Had an amazing time at Hijau hostel, very quiet and relaxing place in the nature although the city is very close! Owner, family and neighbours are super friendly, thanks for the gorgeous time, see you soon!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The vibe was perfect and the host is so so friendly. Feels like a family. He also has an adorable dog called Choco! We felt so at home, and we even shared some drinks and had a sing together in the evening. Thank you so much !! :)

If you think to come there for one night, you can already changed your plans because you will want to stay there way longer. There's everything you need: nature, green everywhere, smiled people, guitar, morning coffee and vine for the evening. It's like home far away from home. If you need to slow down, chill and just simply enjoy life, it's a place to be. See you soon Didit ✌️

Came here based on recommendations. The owner and his family are very friendly. They gave me a lot of help as I was traveling alone and riding a motorcycle for the first time. They also shared food with me. I spent a pleasant and warm day here. Thank you.

I had an absolutely delightful experience during my visit to Mataram and while exploring the beautiful island of Lombok! If you're planning a trip to the area, I found the perfect place to stay! It's only a short drive from the city located in the most peaceful location.The place is hosted by Didit one of the loveliest people I met during my stay in Lombok.From sharing local secrets to creating a welcoming atmosphere, Didit truly knows how to make guests feel special. We had the nicest acoustic guitar jam sessions with him too, he is such a talent!Thank you, Didit, you truly are a host like no other! If you're planning a trip to Mataram or exploring the wonders of Lombok, this is the place to be.

I only regret one thing and that’s not coming here sooner. I heard about this place and wanted to check it out for my last night at Lombok and I really wished I could have stayed longer.I literally loved everything about this place. Tvibe in the evening, the silence in the morning, Didit being a really nice host, …You won’t regret staying here!

This is not just an accommodation, it's a local and authentic immersion experience. When I arrived, there was a family celebration. They invited me to join. Didit mom cooked one of the most delicious food I had in Indonesia. We spent the evening with friends, family and neighbors drinking palm wine and playing music. Beautiful and lushy place. Feels like sleeping in a cabin in a tree.The only things to be aware is there can be mosquitoes at night and no AC... for now! This place is already amazing and Didit is still working on it, so it can only improve even more. Don't miss it especially for a ridiculous price!!
