I absolutely do not recommend this accommodation.The host didn't seem to know we were arriving at all, he told us to take the room we wanted (there was absolutely no one there).The accommodation was dirty, dusty and really deserves some improvements (see photos).We tell our host that we do not wish to stay and that we will find other accommodation.He says it’s a shame to pay twice that we must be very rich to afford that (?) and so we tell him that we will check with Airbnb to get a refund.At this word our host goes crazy, starts filming us, asking us to justify ourselves, asking us to show him what is causing us a problem in the accommodation by pushing us. We remain calm and he continues to film us repeating 4 times “be careful on the road, be careful” which clearly sounds like a threat.We immediately contacted Airbnb who provided a full refund and were very responsive.We should have read the reviews on Google before booking, because those on Airbnb are surprisingly quite positive….

My experience with this Airbnb accommodation was extremely unsatisfactory. First, the location provided on the platform was incorrect, about 20 minutes away from the actual site. Communication with the host was challenging as he was not on-site but elsewhere. He seemed stressed and unfriendly.When I finally found the property, it didn't match the online photos at all. The building was in dire need of renovation and refurbishment. After a five-hour journey, I was forced to book alternative accommodation as I didn't want to stay in those conditions.The host refused to cancel and instead offered another property at an additional cost, which I declined. Fortunately, Airbnb's customer service proved helpful and refunded the amount I had paid.

Spent one month at Lakey Beach Inn as a couple, and also when two friends came over for some time. As far as location goes, you can't beat it. It is the closest possible rooms to Lakey Pipe/Peak. You literally see Lakey Peak firing from the moment you open your door in the morning, then you walk up to the common area and have unhindered vision straight it Lakey Pipe and Peak. Yeah, the reviews are true, Rachel is loud AF and but that's all part of the charm. He can get fired up pretty quickly, but don't take it personally. He's got a big heart! There are half a dozen roosters and couple dozen chickens. They can be loud. They crow in the AM. But the space, freedom and access to nature you have as soon as you open the door is worth it. The dogs can be fighting at night, but the puppy is so cuddly! The room is basic. Lighting is dark. The shower is a weak hose in the wall. The toilet doesn't flush properly. But I wouldn't trade these setbacks for all the other great things about this place. Breakfast isn't included but it's standard cheap prices for a mean omelette and some of the best pancakes you'll have. Just make sure to not be in a rush, it can take an hour to receive your food!All in all, you have to be easy going to stay here. Everything happens slowly. Just relax. Inside the room isn't the best. Especially as far as bathroom goes. But it's not that bad, and totally worth it. Highly recommend it. Don't even need to consider other places for next time. Cheers Rachel and co.!

The owner is a loud drunk who was screaming about something every day, early and late and arguing with his wife, or some lady that seemed like his wife. The roosters that he feeds scraps of food to will crow right outside your window at all hours of the night. There is also no more restaurant and no more free included breakfast. The owner can't log into his old website to change what it says, so don't expect breakfast, there isn't any. The wifi didn't work in the two most northern rooms despite the website saying free wifi and I had to switch to a third room and was forced to pay more because that room had AC, which I didn't ask for. I'll never go back even if it was free. Absolutely on the decline, no way are most of the good reviews real. Only go here if you are younger and looking to score waves and don't care about much.Good location though, and walking distance to the waves and a decent restaurant with very questionable food hygiene.

You can live, but...There is no hot water, the tap in the sink is a pain, it’s a bit dark, there are cobwebs, the pillow smells bad, there are security problems, our clothes were stolen while they were drying on the veranda.Pros: fast Wi-Fi, cool host, beautiful territory, good location.
